NOTICE is hereby given that a general meeting of the above company will be held at 11 a.m. on the 22nd day of December, 1933, at the office of the Liquidator, 102 Featherston Street, Wellington, for the purpose of enabling the Liquidator to lay before such meeting an account showing the manner in which the winding-up has been conducted and the assets of the company disposed of, and of offering any explanation he may wish to give, and for the purpose of considering and, if thought fit, passing as an extraordinary resolution the following resolution :—

Resolved, “That the accounts as submitted by the Liquidator be and are hereby approved, and that the books, accounts, and documents of the company and of the Liquidator be retained by the Liquidator for a period of one year from the date hereof, after which time they may be destroyed by the Liquidator.”

IN LIQUIDATION.

In the matter of the Companies Act, 1908, and in the matter of BELL’S CASH GROCERY, LTD. (a Private Company), (in Liquidation).

THE following special resolution was duly passed in accordance with section 168 (6) of the Companies Act, 1908, on 4th December, 1933 :—

“That the company be wound up voluntarily, and that ALBERT EDGAR PALMER, of Hastings, Public Accountant, be and he is hereby appointed Liquidator for the purpose of such winding-up.”

Notice is hereby given that all persons having any claims against the above company are required on or before 15th January, 1934, to send their names and addresses and particulars of their debts or claims to Albert Edgar Palmer, the Liquidator of the said company, at his office, Queen Street, Hastings, P.O. Box 105, and if so required by notice in writing from the said Liquidator are personally or by their solicitors to come in and prove their said debts or claims at such time and place as shall be specified in such notice, or, in default thereof, they will be excluded from the benefit of any distribution made before such debts or claims are so lodged or proved.

FRUIT CONTROL ACT, 1924.

NOTICE TO PRODUCERS AND OWNERS OF FRUIT.

NOTICE is hereby given that the New Zealand Fruit-export Control Board, constituted by the Fruit Control Act, 1924, in exercise of the power and authority vested in it by the said Act, intends to assume, as from the 1st day of February, 1934, limited control to the extent hereinafter mentioned of all fruit to which that Act applies—namely, apples and pears produced in every district in which Part I of the said Act is in operation—namely, the Provincial Districts of Auckland, Taranaki, Hawke’s Bay, Wellington, Marlborough, Nelson, and Canterbury, and intended for export from New Zealand to United Kingdom, Continent of Europe, United States of America, Canada, Argentina, Brazil, Uruguay, and Commonwealth of Australia, and that in exercise of such limited control the Board will from time to time fix and nominate the markets and places (in the countries to which the said fruit shall be exported) wherein it shall be sold and disposed of, and will from time to time appoint agents and brokers for the handling, sale, and disposal of the said fruit.
