Portion of Maniapoto Consolidation Scheme confirmed.
In the matter of section 161 of the Native Land Act, 1931.
NOTICE is hereby given that a scheme of consolidation (in part) being the fourth instalment (Mangauika 1B Section 2B portion), dated the 17th day of November, 1933, dealing with Aria Township and other blocks, as set out in the said scheme, having been prepared by the Native Land Court in accordance with the above-mentioned Act, and submitted under the seal of that said Court to the Native Minister for his approval, I, Apirana Turupa Ngata, as such Native Minister, being satisfied that the portion of the scheme so submitted is just and equitable and is in the public interest, do hereby confirm the portion of the said scheme of consolidation which was so submitted on the 17th day of November, 1933.

Registered Medical Practitioner prohibited from issuing Prescriptions for dispensing Dangerous Drugs.
PURSUANT to the provisions of Regulation 11 of the Dangerous Drugs Regulations, dated the 24th day of September, 1928, and appearing in the New Zealand Gazette published on the 27th day of September, 1928, at page 2873, I, James Alexander Young, Minister of Health, on the recommendation of the Medical Council, hereby prohibit George Redpath, registered medical practitioner, of Otara, via Opotiki, from issuing prescriptions for the dispensing of dangerous drugs.

Fixing Date on which certain Returns under the Fire Brigades Act, 1926, are to be furnished.

PURSUANT to section 28 of the Fire Brigades Act, 1926, it is hereby notified that the returns showing the total gross amount of the premiums received by or due to fire-insurance companies during the year ended 31st December, 1933, shall be transmitted to the Fire Boards concerned in the manner prescribed by the said section on or before the 28th February, 1934.

Additional Regulation for Carriage of Deck Cargo.
WHEREAS by Warrant dated the 26th day of April, 1911, and published in the Gazette of the 4th day of the following month, at page 1473, regulations were made governing the issue of licenses for the carriage of deck cargo and live-stock on the decks of vessels :
And whereas it is desirable to make an additional regulation :
Now, therefore, I, John George Cobbe, Minister of Marine, in exercise of the power and authority conferred upon me by section 223 of the Shipping and Seamen Act, 1908, do hereby make the following additional regulation.
REGULATION.
WHERE it appears to the Secretary of Marine, on the report of the Chief Surveyor of Ships, that the requirements of these regulations are insufficient for the safety of any particular ship, or the proper stowage of deck cargo or live-stock, or that they could be safely modified, he may either require the observance of additional precautions, or, upon the written application of an owner, agent, or master, may modify the requirements of the regulations to the extent that, in his opinion, the circumstances of the particular case warrant.
