Classification of Roads in Waitotara County.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred on me by the Transport Department Act, 1929, and the Heavy Motor-vehicle Regulations, 1932, I, Joseph Gordon Coates, Minister of Transport, do hereby declare that the roads described in the Schedule hereto, and situated in the Waitotara County, shall belong to the respective classes of road shown in the said Schedule.

SCHEDULE.
WAITOTARA COUNTY.

Roads classified in Class Three: Available for the use thereon of any heavy motor-vehicle (other than a multi-axled heavy motor-vehicle) which, with the load it is carrying, weighs not more than 6½ tons, or any multi-axled heavy motor-vehicle which, with the load it is carrying, weighs not more than 10 tons:—

Main Highways.
Auckland–Wellington, via Taranaki Main Highway No. 1. (All that portion within Waitotara County.)
Rangitatan East and Watershed Main Highway No. 47.

Roads classified in Class Five: Available for the use thereon of any heavy motor-vehicle (other than a multi-axled heavy motor-vehicle) which, with the load it is carrying, weighs not more than 3 tons, or any multi-axled heavy motor-vehicle which, with the load it is carrying, weighs not more than 4½ tons:—

Kaurarapaoa Road (that portion between the Whakanga-romanga Stream, in Section I, Block I, Waipakura Survey District, and the Kaurarapaoa Stream, situated in Section 2, Block II, Waipakura Survey District), Lilybank Road, Tokomaru East Road, Upper Pakaraka Road.

Classification of Road in Matamata Town District.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred on me by the Transport Department Act, 1929, and the Heavy Motor-vehicle Regulations, 1932, I, Joseph Gordon Coates, do hereby alter the Matamata Town Board’s proposed classification of the road described in the Schedule hereto, and situated in Matamata Town District, and do hereby approve such altered classification as set forth in the said Schedule.

MATAMATA TOWN DISTRICT.

Road classified in Class Four: Available for the use thereon of any heavy motor-vehicle (other than a multi-axled heavy motor-vehicle) which, with the load it is carrying, weighs not more than 4½ tons, or any multi-axled heavy motor-vehicle which, with the load it is carrying, weighs not more than 6½ tons:—

Burwood Road. (All that portion within Matamata Town District, commencing at No. 20 Main Highway and terminating at the Matamata County Boundary.)

WHANGAREI COUNTY.

Road classified in Class Three: Available for the use thereon of any heavy motor-vehicle (other than a multi-axled heavy motor-vehicle) which, with the load it is carrying, weighs not more than 6½ tons, or any multi-axled heavy motor-vehicle which, with the load it is carrying, weighs not more than 10 tons:—

Lake Omarere – Maungaturoto via Whangarei Main Highway No. 7. (All that portion of the Main Highway commencing at the southern boundary of Hikurangi Town District and terminating at the northern boundary of Kamo Town District and situated in the Whangarei County.)

Notice of Vacation of Office of Members of the District Licensing Authority of No. 4 Transport District in terms of the Transport Licensing Act, 1931.

IT is hereby notified that the persons described in the Schedule hereto have resigned their offices as members of the District Licensing Authority for the No. 4 Transport District, and that the resignations shall take effect as from the 10th day of December, 1933.
