TAIHAPE BOROUGH COUNCIL.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.

IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, and of all other powers (if any) it thereunto enabling, the Taihape Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:—

That for the purpose of providing for the payment of interest, sinking fund, and other charges on the Taihape Borough Council Water and Sewerage Redemption Loan of £20,950, 1933, authorized to be raised by the Taihape Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of redeeming the Taihape Borough Council Water and Sewerage Loan of £24,000, 1922, the said Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of sixpence and thirty-one thirty-seconds of a penny (6 31/32d.) in the pound sterling on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the Western and Northern Special-rating Area of the Borough of Taihape, such special area comprising all that area of land within the Borough of Taihape, being Sections 75, 76, 77, and 36, Block XIV, Ohinewairua Survey District (including subdivisional Lots 1 to 8 inclusive of part of the said Section 75), and the whole part of the said borough lying to the west of the North Island Main Trunk Railway-line, excepting thereout Sections 16, 19, 20, and 21, Block XIV, Ohinewairua Survey District, and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the first day of August in each and every year, during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
