In the matter of the Companies Act, 1908, and in the matter of Messrs. H. ODELL and SON, LIMITED (in Voluntary Liquidation).

NOTICE is hereby given that by resolution dated 29th September, 1933, it was resolved that the company go into voluntary liquidation, and that the undersigned be appointed Liquidator.

The creditors of the company are required, on or before 30th November, 1933, to send their names and addresses and particulars of their debts or claims to the Liquidator, or if required by notice in writing from the Liquidator to come in and prove such debts or claims, or, in default thereof, they will be excluded from the benefit of any distribution made before such debts are proved.

NOTICE OF CHANGE OF NAME.

I, ERNEST OSWALD LEDINGHAM, of Marton, in New Zealand, Cabinetmaker, at one time known as ERNEST OSWALD BETTS, do hereby give notice that I have assumed and intend henceforth upon all occasions and at all times to sign and use and be called and known by the surname of Ledingham in lieu of and substitution for my surname of Betts, and that such intended change or assumption of name is formally declared and evidenced by a deed-poll under my hand and seal, dated the 23rd day of August, 1933, and enrolled in the office of the Supreme Court of New Zealand at Wanganui.

I HEREBY give public notice that the following candidates have been duly nominated for the office of Members of the Board of Trustees of the Wainono Drainage District, viz.:

Chambers, Princes Street, Dunedin, on Friday, 10th November, 1933, at 7.30 p.m., for the purpose of receiving the Liquidator’s account showing the manner in which the winding-up has been conducted and the assets of the company disposed of.

GREY ELECTRIC-POWER BOARD.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, the Grey Electric-power Board hereby resolves as follows:—
That, for the purpose of providing interest, sinking fund, and other charges on a loan of £25,000 authorized by a poll taken on the 4th day of January, 1933, to be raised by the Grey Electric-power Board under the above-mentioned Act for the purchase and construction of electrical works as defined in the Electric-power Boards Act, 1925, and its amendments, and for the supply of electricity within the Grey Electric-power District, the said Grey Electric-power Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of one hundred and fifty-one five-hundredths (151/500) of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property (on the basis of the capital value) of the Grey Electric-power District, and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable half-yearly on the first day of April and October in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 15 years or until the loan is fully paid off.

We certify that the foregoing is a true and correct copy of a resolution passed by the Grey Electric-power Board at a meeting of the Board held on the 18th day of October, 1933.

NOTICE is hereby given that at a meeting of members of the above-named company held on the 1st day of November, 1933, it was resolved—

“ That the company be wound up voluntarily, and that JOHN LOUDON, of Ashburton, Company-manager, and ARTHUR BUSHELL, of Ashburton, Accountant, be appointed Liquidators for the purpose of such winding-up.”
