Land taken for the Purposes of a Road in Block IV, Maramarua Survey District, Waikato County.

A PROCLAMATION.
I N pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of a road; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the sixth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-three.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 25·3 perches. Being portion of Section 5s, Kopuku No. 2 Settlement.
Situated in Block IV, Maramarua Survey District (Auckland R.D.). (S.O. 27078.)
In the Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 86090, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 18th day of October, 1933.

Directing Sale of Railway Land at Palmerston under the Public Works Act, 1928.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 7th day of October, 1933.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by the thirty-fifth section of the Public Works Act, 1928 (hereinafter termed “the said Act”), it is enacted that if it is found that any land held, taken, purchased, or acquired at any time under this or any other Act or Provincial Ordinance, or otherwise howsoever, for any public work, is not required for such public work, the Governor-General may, by Order in Council publicly notified and gazetted, cause the same to be sold under the conditions set forth in the said Act:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by the said Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and direct the sale of the said land described in the Schedule hereto.

Situated in Block IV, Moeraki Survey District, Waihemo County.
In the Otago Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 2717, deposited in the office of the Government Railways Board at Wellington, and thereon coloured yellow and bordered green.

Reappointing Members of the Government Railways Board.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 10th day of October, 1933.

THE RIGHT HON. G. W. FORBES PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by section two of the Government Railways Amendment Act, 1931, it is enacted as follows:—
“2. (1) There is hereby constituted a Board which shall be known as the Government Railways Board (hereinafter in this Act called ‘the Board’).
“(2) The Board shall consist of five persons to be from time to time appointed by the Governor-General in Council. One such member shall be so appointed as Chairman of the Board.
“(3) The first person appointed as Chairman of the Board shall hold office as a member of the Board and as Chairman thereof for a period of four years from the date of his appointment. Every subsequent such appointment shall be for a period of three years.
