Transmitting and Receiving Officers for the Service of Notices by Telegraph.
General Post Office,
Wellington, 10th October, 1933.
IN pursuance of the powers conferred upon me by the Post and Telegraph Act, 1928 (hereinafter termed “the said Act”), and by the regulations made on the 12th May, 1914, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the 21st May, 1914, the following officers, at the addresses set against their names, are hereby appointed transmitting and receiving officers for the purpose of dealing with all notices by telegraph sent under the said Act or regulations, and of signing such certificates in relation to the service of any such notices as are required or authorized to be signed or given under the said Act or the regulations aforesaid :—

Albert Nyanza Wallace, Chief Postmaster, Blenheim.
Frederick Westland Furby, Chief Postmaster, Christchurch.
George Nelson, Chief Postmaster, Gisborne.
George Walter Brown, Postmaster, Marton.
Hugh Miller, Chief Postmaster, Oamaru.
Duncan Black, Chief Postmaster, Palmerston North.
Frederick George Nind, Chief Postmaster, Timaru.

Prohibition of Issue of Money-orders and Transmission of Postal Correspondence.
THE Postmaster-General of the Dominion of New Zealand having reasonable ground for supposing that the persons whose names and addresses are shown in the Schedule hereunder are engaged in promoting or carrying out a lottery or scheme of chance, it is hereby ordered, under section 32 of the Post and Telegraph Act, 1928, that no money-order in favour of either of the said persons shall be issued, and that no postal packet addressed to either of the said persons (either by his own or any fictitious or assumed name) or addressed to either of the addresses in the Schedule hereunder without a name, shall be either registered or forwarded by the Post Office of New Zealand.

Prohibition of Issue of Money-orders and Transmission of Postal Correspondence for Leo Bernardo, Wellington.
THE Postmaster-General of the Dominion of New Zealand having reasonable ground for supposing that the person whose name and address are shown in the Schedule hereunder is engaged in receiving money under pretence of foretelling events, it is hereby ordered, under section 32 of the Post and Telegraph Act, 1928, that no money-order in favour of the said person shall be issued, and that no postal packet addressed to the said person, or addressed to the address in the Schedule hereunder without a name, shall be either registered or forwarded by the Post Office of New Zealand.
