Allocating to the Purposes of a Street Land in the City of Auckland acquired for a Railway.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land which is described in the Schedule hereto (and which was acquired for the purposes of the Kaipara–Puniu Railway, and which is no longer required for such purposes), shall, upon the publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette, become a street, and that such street shall be maintained by the Auckland City Council in like manner as other public highways are controlled and maintained by the said Council.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land dealt with : 0·7 perches. Being portion of railway land (formerly part Allotment 32A of Section 3, Suburbs of Auckland). (D.P. 22648.)

Situated in Block VIII, Rangitoto Survey District, City of Auckland (Auckland R.D.). (S.O. 27239.)

In the North Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 86224, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 3rd day of October, 1933.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as a road the land in Whangarei Survey District described in the First Schedule hereto; and also do hereby proclaim as closed the road described in the Second Schedule hereto.
