WELLINGTON, THURSDAY, AUGUST 31, 1933.

Road traversing Native Land proclaimed as a Public Road
in Block I, Kairanga Survey District, Wellington Land
District.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS the road described in the Schedule hereto
traverses Native land, and has been used by the
public as if it were a public road, and has been formed,
improved, and maintained out of the funds of the local autho-
rity :

And whereas the Native Land Court, by an order made on
the twelfth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and
thirty-two, and issued pursuant to section four hundred and
eighty-four of the Native Land Act, 1931, ordered and declared
the said road to be a public road ;

And whereas the said Court is of the opinion that it is in
the public interest that the said road should be proclaimed as
a public road, and a notification to that effect has been for-
warded to the Minister of Lands in terms of section four
hundred and eighty-six of the said Act ;

And whereas it is now expedient that the said road should
be proclaimed as a public road :

Now, therefore, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and
exercise of the powers conferred by section four hundred and
eighty-seven of the Native Land Act, 1931, do hereby pro-
claim as a public road the road described in the Schedule
hereto.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of land proclaimed as a
road :—

A. R. P. Being Portion of
2 0 22-27 Aorangi No. 1 Block.
0 2 0 Aorangi No. 1, 4b Block.

Situated in Block I, Kairanga Survey District. (Plan
W.D. 1563.)

In the Wellington Land District; as the same are more
particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 16/2119,
deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and
Survey, at Wellington, under No. 2628, and thereon coloured
burnt sienna.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 26th day of
August, 1933.

Crown Lands set apart as a Provisional State Forest.

A PROCLAMATION.

BY virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities
conferred upon me by section eighteen of the Forests
Act, 1921-22, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby set apart the
Crown lands described in the Schedule hereto as a provisional
State forest.

SCHEDULE.

SOUTHLAND LAND DISTRICT.—SOUTHLAND FOREST-
CONSERVATION REGION.

ALL that area in the Southland Land District, containing
approximately 2,320 acres, situated in Block II, Mokoreta
Survey District, and Blocks VI, VII, and VIII, Slopedown
Survey District, and bounded generally as follows: Com-
mencing at Trig. Station L on the western boundary of Block
II, Mokoreta Survey District; thence proceeding in a north-
easterly direction along the north-western boundary of the
Otago High Schools’ endowment to the land district bound-
ary; thence in a westerly direction along the land district
boundary to the edge of the bush; thence in a south-westerly
direction along the edge of the bush to Trig. Station L, the
point of commencement.

As the same is more particularly delineated on plan No.
213/4, deposited in the Head Office of the State Forest
Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 24th day of
August, 1933.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
conferred upon me by section five of the Land Act,
1924, and of every other power and authority enabling me
in that behalf, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby revoke the
Proclamation of the fourth day of October, one thousand
eight hundred and eighty-one, and published at page 1246 of
