Appointment of Officers under Part II of the Fisheries Act, 1908.

IT is hereby notified that His Excellency the Governor-General has, in pursuance of the provisions of the Fisheries Act, 1908, and of the Official Appointments and Documents Act, 1919, appointed
Robert Hanairo Roigard, of Greymouth, and
Derisley Francis Hobbs, of Inchbonnie, Greymouth,
to be officers for the purposes of Part II of the first-mentioned Act in respect of the Grey District Acclimatization District.

N.Z. STAFF CORPS.
Lieutenant-Colonel S. C. P. Nicholls, D.S.O., to be Colonel. Dated 23rd June, 1933.
COMMANDS.
Major (temp. Lieutenant-Colonel) F. Gorton, the Canterbury Yeomanry Cavalry, relinquishes command of the Regiment, and is posted to the Retired List, with the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel, and with permission to wear the prescribed uniform. Dated 11th July, 1933.
Major L. R. C. Macfarlane, M.C., v.d., the Canterbury Yeomanry Cavalry, is appointed to command the Regiment. Dated 12th July, 1933.
THE CANTERBURY YEOMANRY CAVALRY.
Bandmaster (Hon. Lieutenant) J. M. Scott resigns his commission. Dated 24th July, 1933.
THE WAIKATO MOUNTED RIFLES.
Captain V. A. Murphy, Regimental Supernumerary List, is transferred to the Reserve of Officers, Class I (b), R.D. 1. Dated 24th July, 1933.
THE MANAWATU MOUNTED RIFLES.
Lieutenant L. J. B. McKelvie, Regimental Supernumerary List, is transferred to the Reserve of Officers, Class I (b), R.D. 5. Dated 26th July, 1933.
THE HAURAKI REGIMENT.
2nd Lieutenant J. R. A. Whelan, 1st Battalion, to be Lieutenant. Dated 24th July, 1933.
THE WELLINGTON REGIMENT.
Captain R. E. Murray, Regimental Supernumerary List, is transferred to the Reserve of Officers, Class I (b), R.D. 5. Dated 20th July, 1933.
