And whereas by Order in Council dated the sixteenth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-nine, and published in the Gazette of the nineteenth day of the same month, at page 2490, the said regulations of the twenty-sixth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-seven, were amended :

And whereas it is desirable to amend the said regulations in the manner hereinafter described :

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on him by the Fisheries Act, 1908, and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in that behalf, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby revoke Regulation 6 made by the hereinbefore-recited Order in Council of the sixteenth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-nine, and doth substitute the following in lieu thereof :—

“6. No person shall fish with other than natural or artificial bait : Provided that in the Piopiotea Stream, the Whakapapa Stream, and in the Wanganui River from a point five miles below the Matapuna Bridge to the source no person shall fish with other than artificial bait.”

Cancelling the Reservation over Part of a Reserve in Ngongotaha Survey District, Auckland Land District.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 7th day of August, 1933.

Present :

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by subsection one (b) of section seven of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby cancel the reservation as a forest plantation reserve over the land described in the Schedule hereto ; and doth hereby declare that the said land, being vested in the Crown, is Crown land available for disposal under the Land Act, 1924.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 2,093 acres 2 roods 20 perches, more or less, being part Section 2, Block I, and part Section 1, Block IV, Ngongotaha Survey District : Bounded towards the north-east by Sections 5 and 6, Block I, Ngongotaha Survey District, the abutment of a strip of national-endowment land 100 links wide, and Section 7, Block I aforesaid, 10914·8 links ; towards the south-east generally by a public road and a reserve 100 links wide along the right bank of the Whirinaki Stream ; towards the south, west, and north generally by other part forest plantation reserve (being other part Section 1, Block IV, and other part Section 2, Block I, Ngongotaha Survey District).

As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 34/1/3A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red. (Auckland plan S.O. 26928.)

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 7th day of August, 1933.

Present :

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by subsection one (b) of section seven of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby cancel the reservation as a quarantine reserve over the land described in the Schedule hereto ; and doth hereby declare that the said land, being vested in the Crown, is Crown land available for disposal under the Land Act, 1924.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the Nelson Land District, containing 7 acres 3 roods 27 perches, more or less, and being part of Section 34, Square 1, Block III, Waimea Survey District : Bounded towards the north-east and south-east by a public road ; towards the south generally by parts Section 34, Square 1, and towards the north-west by the high-water mark of Tasman Bay.

Also, all that area in the Nelson Land District, containing 13 acres 0 roods 13 perches, more or less, and being part of Section 34, Square 1 : Bounded towards the north-east by part Section 34, Square 1, Rifle Range Reserve, and on south-east, south, and north-west by the high-water mark of Tasman Bay.

As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 9/1210A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Domain Board appointed to have Control of the Mackaytown Domain.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 7th day of August, 1933.

Present :

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section forty-four of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint

William Bramble,
William Henry Wigmore,
Frederick John Dare,
John Benjamin Morris, and
William Griffin

to be the Mackaytown Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto ; and doth hereby appoint Friday, the twenty-fifth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-three, at eight o’clock p.m., as the time when, and Mr. Wigmore’s residence, Rahu Road, Karangahake, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

MACKAYTOWN DOMAIN.

ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 15 acres 1 rood 14 perches, more or less, being Sections 1 and 2 of Block VII, Mackaytown : Bounded towards the north-east by the abutment of a public road and Section 15, Block XIII, Ōhinemuri Survey District, 452·8 and 441·5 links ; towards the south-east generally by the main road and a public road 100 links wide, 1053·6, 582·1, and 993·7 links ; and towards the west generally by the Ōhinemuri River ; be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. As the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 1022, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red. (Auckland plan 11618, blue.)

Also all that area in the Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 2 acres 0 roods 18·3 perches, more or less, being portion of land known as Corne’s Agricultural Lease, Block I, Aroha Survey District, and Block XIII, Ōhinemuri Survey District : Bounded towards the north generally by a public road, 180 and 126·4 links ; towards the north-east by the New Zealand Crown Mines Special Site, 592·25 links ; towards the south-east by water-pipe reserve 343 links ; and towards the south-west by a public road, 730 links ; be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. As the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 1/29, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red. (Auckland plan No. 19053.)
