NOTICE is hereby given that at a meeting of the above-named company held on the 21st day of July, 1933, the following resolution was passed :-

"That it is proved to the satisfaction of the company that it cannot by reason of its liabilities continue its business, and that it is advisable to wind up the same; and that Mr. P. E. PATTRICK and Mr. P. M. CAMERON, Accountants, Wellington, be and are hereby appointed Liquidators at a fee to be arranged payable out of the realized assets."

NOTICE is hereby given that the following extraordinary resolution was passed by the shareholders of Tulloch's Drapery and Clothing Co., Ltd., on the 2nd day of May, 1933 :-

"That it has been proved to the satisfaction of the shareholders that the company cannot by reason of its liabilities continue its business, and that it is advisable to wind up the same, and accordingly that the company be wound up voluntarily, and that RUPERT YEOMAN COLLINS, Public Accountant, of Wellington, be and is hereby appointed Liquidator for the purposes of such winding-up."

IN VOLUNTARY LIQUIDATION.

NOTICE is hereby given that the following extraordinary resolution was passed by the shareholders of Hornigs Ltd. on the 8th day of July, 1933 :-

"(1) That it has been proved to the satisfaction of this meeting that the company cannot by reason of its liabilities continue its business, and that it is advisable to wind up the same, and accordingly that the company be wound up voluntarily.

"(2) That J. Benjamin, of Wellington, Accountant, be and he is hereby appointed Liquidator for the purposes of such winding-up."

Notice is further given that by extraordinary resolution of the company, dated 24th July, 1933, RUPERT YEOMAN COLLINS, of Wellington, Public Accountant, was appointed Liquidator in place of Joseph Benjamin, who had resigned.

In the matter of the Companies Act, 1908, and in the matter of THE GOLDEN GORGE MINING COMPANY, LTD.\

NOTICE is hereby given that at an extraordinary general meeting of shareholders of the above-named company, duly convened and held at the Registered Office of the company, 60-63 Yorkshire House, Shortland Street, Auckland, on Thursday, the 27th July, 1933, the following resolution was unanimously carried :-

"That the Golden Gorge Mining Company, Ltd., be wound up voluntarily under the provisions of the Companies Act, 1908, and of the Kawarau Gold-mining Amalgamation Act, 1930, and that RAYMOND STANLEY HOLM BISS, Public Accountant, of Auckland, be and is hereby appointed Liquidator for such purpose with power to distribute among the members of the company, according to their holding, the shares (other than fractions thereof) which the company will receive in the Amalgamated Kawarau Gold-mining Co., Ltd."

BRUCE COUNTY COUNCIL

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1926, the Bruce County Council hereby resolves as follows :-

"That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £2,500 authorized to be raised by the Bruce County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of providing the Council's share of the cost of constructing a bridge over the Clutha River at Balclutha, known as the Clutha River Bridge, the said Bruce County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one-fortieth of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value (being the capital value) of all rateable property of the County of Bruce comprising the whole of the said county, and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of September in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of three years or until the loan is fully paid off."

MOUNT WELLINGTON ROAD BOARD

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE AS SECURITY FOR A LOAN OF £1,500, BEING A SUPPLEMENTARY LOAN FOR WATER-SUPPLY PURPOSES.

Extract from the minutes of a special meeting of the Mount Wellington Road Board held on Tuesday, the 18th day of July, 1933.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1926, and of all other powers it thereunto enabling, the Mount Wellington Road Board hereby resolves as follows :-

"That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of one thousand five hundred pounds (£1,500), being known as the "Water-supply Supplementary Loan, 1933," authorized to be raised by the Mount Wellington Road Board under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of completing the work for which a loan of twenty thousand pounds (£20,000) was raised under authority of a poll of the ratepayers of the Mount Wellington Road District on the 16th day of September, 1930, the said Mount Wellington Road Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of one-thirty-second (1/32nd) of one penny in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) of all rateable property within the Mount Wellington Road District, and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 14th day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan for a period of thirty years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

We, the undersigned, being the Chairman and Clerk respectively of the Mount Wellington Road Board, hereby certify that the above resolution was duly passed at a special meeting of the Mount Wellington Road Board held on Tuesday, the 18th day of July, 1933.
