Settlement Land in North Auckland Land District for Sale by Public Auction.
North Auckland District Lands and Survey Office,
Auckland, 7th March, 1933.
NOTICE is hereby given that the undermentioned land will be offered for sale by public auction for cash or on deferred payments at the North Auckland District Lands and Survey Office, Auckland, on Wednesday, 6th September, 1933, at 11 o’clock a.m., under the provisions of the Land Act, 1924, and the Land for Settlements Act, 1925.
SCHEDULE.
NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.—SETTLEMENT LAND.
Waitemata County.—Waari Hamlet.
SECTION 59: Area, 5 acres. Upset price, £150.
Loaded with £185 for improvements, consisting of 6½ chains road fencing, 22¼ chains boundary-fencing, three sheds, four-roomed house, 6 chains subdivisional fencing, 1 acre in grass; and sixteen young fruit-trees. This amount is payable in cash or by a deposit of £25, the balance of £160 to be secured by a mortgage under the Discharged Soldiers Settlement Act, for fifteen years, with interest at the rate of 5½ per cent. per annum.
Section is one mile and three-quarters from Henderson and half a mile from Sunnyvale Railway-station. About 1 acre has been cultivated and is in poor grass, the balance, 4 acres, is unimproved and in tea-tree scrub. Land is undulating and all ploughable, of good quality friable brown clay. Suitable for fruitgrowing, poultry-farming, and bee-keeping.

Settlement Land in Auckland Land District for Selection on Renewable Lease.
District Lands and Survey Office,
Auckland, 2nd August, 1933.
NOTICE is hereby given that the undermentioned sections are open for selection on renewable lease under the Land Act, 1924, and the Land for Settlements Act, 1925, and applications will be received at the District Lands and Survey Office, Auckland, up to 4 o’clock p.m. on Monday, 28th August, 1933.
Applicants should appear personally for examination at the District Lands and Survey Office, Auckland, on Tuesday, 29th August, 1933, at 10 o’clock a.m., but if any applicant is unable to attend he may be examined by any other Land Board or by any Commissioner of Crown Lands.
The ballot will be held immediately upon conclusion of the examination of applicants.
SCHEDULE.
AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.—SETTLEMENT LAND.—FIRST-CLASS LAND.
Waikato County.—Te Miro Settlement.
SECTIONS 8, 44, 45, and 57–63: Area, 178 acres 1 rood 25 perches. Capital value, £360; half-yearly rent, £9.
Weighted with £300 for a dwelling. This sum may be paid in cash or by a cash deposit of £25, the balance—viz., £275—to be secured on instalment mortgage over a period of thirty-six and a half years with interest at 6¼ per cent. Half-yearly instalment, £9 12s. 3d.
Suitable for run-off purposes at present, but could be developed into a medium dairying proposition. Situated on the Te Miro Road, three miles from Te Miro Post-office and School, ten miles from Hautapu Dairy Factory, and twelve miles from Cambridge Saleyards, by formed road.
Undulating to hilly country, 50 acres being in pasture, balance in natural state. Ragwort requires immediate attention. Rabbits numerous. Section is poorly watered.
The following improvements, valued at £180, are included in the capital value: Half-share in 36 chains boundary-fencing, 12 chains road fencing, 170 chains internal fencing, shed, clearing, and grassing.

AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.—THIRD-CLASS LAND.
(National Endowment.)
Tauranga County.—Otanewainuku Survey District.
(Exempt from payment of rent for five years.)
SECTION 2 and part Section 3, Block VIII: Area, 1,370 acres. Capital value, £455; half-yearly rent, £9 2s.
Weighted with £516 10s. for improvements, consisting of a dwelling, motor-shed, whare, slaughterhouse, sheep-dips, approximately 192 chains road fencing, half-share in approximately 175 chains boundary-fencing, 450 chains internal fencing, clearing, and grassing. Payable in cash or by a cash deposit of £1 10s., the balance, £515, being secured by mortgage to the State Advances Superintendent, payable over a period of thirty years with interest at 6 per cent., by half-yearly instalments of £18 12s. 2d., and free of interest for two years from date of selection, provided improvements of an equivalent value are effected.
A grazing property, when pasture restored. Situated on No. 3 Road, Te Puke, ten miles from Te Puke Post-office, School, and Railway-station partly by metalled and partly by clay road.
Approximately 50 acres about the homestead, almost flat and slightly broken, approximately 100 acres easy ploughable country when cleaned up, the balance being from easy to steep hills, very broken. Practically the whole of the cleared area has reverted to second growth. The broken-hill country is of very little grazing value. Ragwort requires immediate attention. The soil is of a pumicy loam of light nature, resting on pumice formation; watered by streams.
