Notice respecting Proposed Alteration of Boundaries.--City of Christchurch.

Wellington, 3rd August, 1933.
IT is hereby notified that a petition has been presented to His Excellency the Governor-General, under the Municipal Corporations Act, 1920, praying that the area described in the Schedule hereto may be excluded from the County of Heathcote and included in the City of Christchurch. All persons affected are hereby called upon to lodge any written objections to or petitions against the proposed alteration of boundaries which they desire to lodge within one month from the first publication of this notice, such objections or petitions to be addressed to the Minister of Internal Affairs, Wellington.
SCHEDULE.
AREA PROPOSED TO BE INCLUDED IN CITY OF CHRISTCHURCH.
All that land in the Canterbury Land District, situated in Block XV, Christchurch Survey District, and bounded by a line commencing at a point being the north-eastern corner of Rural Section 30694, and proceeding in a westerly direction along the northern boundary of the said Rural Section 30694 to Dry Bush Road; thence across that road and westerly along the northern boundary of Rural Section 2135 to the south-east corner of Rural Section 2115; thence north-westerly along the north-east boundary of Rural Section 2115 an approximate distance of 1250 links, and thence northerly by a right line through Rural Section 11465 to the south-east corner of Lot 2, D.P. 7378; thence north-easterly and north-westerly along the south-east and north-east boundaries of the said Lot 2, D.P. 7378, to the south-east corner of Lot 2, D.P. 5617; thence north-easterly along the south-east boundary of Lots 2 and 1, D.P. 5617, and its continuation to a point on the north-east boundary of Reserve 4133; thence north-westerly along the said north-east boundary of Reserve 4133 to a road; thence north-westerly and north-easterly generally along the east side of the said road to Port Hills Road; thence northerly along the east side of the said Port Hills Road to a point on the Christchurch City boundary at its junction with St. Martins Road; thence south-easterly generally along the Christchurch City boundary on the north and north-eastern side of the said Port Hills Road to a point in line with the western boundary of Lot 8, D.P. 5960; thence southerly across Port Hills Road aforesaid to and along the western boundary of the said Lot 8, D.P. 5960, and its continuation across Reserve 4094 to a point on the northern boundary of Lot 10, D.P. 5960; thence easterly along the northern boundary of the said Lot 10, D.P. 5960, to its north-eastern corner; thence southerly by the eastern boundaries of Lot 10 aforesaid and Lots 11 and 12, D.P. 5960, and by a right line intersecting Lot 1, D.P. 5036, to the north-western corner of Lot 31, D.P. 5960; thence southerly along the western boundary of the said Lot 31 and Lots 30, 29, and 27, D.P. 5960, to the south-western corner of the said Lot 27, D.P. 5960; thence easterly along the southern boundary of Lots 27 and 28, D.P. 5960, and its continuation across Lot 1, D.P. 7566, to a point on the western boundary of Reserve 4132; thence southerly generally along the western boundary of the said Reserve 4132 to a point opposite the northernmost corner of Lot 85, D.P. 7182; thence south-easterly by a right line across the said Reserve 4132 to the northernmost corner of Lot 85, D.P. 7182 aforesaid; thence southerly and south-easterly generally along the western and south-western boundaries of Lots 90, 89, 88, 87, 86, 85, and 84, D.P. 675, and the south-western boundary of Rural Section 15170 to the north-eastern corner of Rural Section 30694, the point of commencement.

Prohibition of Issue of Money-orders and Transmission of Postal Correspondence.
THE Postmaster-General of the Dominion of New Zealand having reasonable ground for supposing that the person whose name and address are shown in the Schedule hereunder is engaged in promoting or carrying out a lottery or scheme of chance, it is hereby ordered, under section 32 of the Post and Telegraph Act, 1928, that no money-order in favour of the said person shall be issued, and that no postal packet addressed to the said person (either by his or her own or any fictitious or assumed name) or addressed to the address in the Schedule hereunder without a name, shall be either registered or forwarded by the Post Office of New Zealand.
