A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS the lands described in the First Schedule hereto are reserves permanently set apart for the preservation of forest and scenery by Warrant dated the seventeenth day of December, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-eight, under the provisions of the Land Act, 1892: And whereas the land described in the Second Schedule hereto is a reserve permanently set apart for the preservation of forest and scenery by Warrant dated the nineteenth day of December, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-nine, under the provisions of the aforementioned Act: And whereas it is expedient that the said lands should be declared reserves under the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908: Now, therefore, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section four of the Scenery Preservation Amendment Act, 1926, do hereby proclaim and declare that the lands described in the Schedules hereto shall, from and after the date hereof, be scenic reserves under the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908, and its amendments.

FIRST SCHEDULE.

WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT.

SECTION 32, Block VIII, Apiti Survey District: Area, 77 acres, more or less.
