SECOND SCHEDULE.

DESCRIPTION OF DISTRICTS.

ALL that area in the North Auckland Land District contained
in Blocks 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, and 16, Purua Survey
District, Blocks 2, 5, and 6, Tangihua Survey District, and
Block 4, Maungaru Survey District, exclusive of the Kioreroa
Block, an endowment of the Whangarei High School, situated
within that area.

All that area in the Taranaki Land District: Bounded
towards the north generally by the Mokau River from the
sea to the Tahumataroa Stream; thence by that stream to
the eastern boundary of Mokau-Mohakatino No. 1H Block;
thence towards the east by the said eastern boundary to the
south-eastern boundary of the said Mokau-Mohakatino
No. 1H Block; thence towards the south-east by a right
line to the easternmost corner of the Town of Midhirst; thence
towards the south-west by the said Town of Midhirst to its
northernmost corner; thence by a right line to the mouth
of the Pitone Stream; and thence towards the north-west
by the sea to the mouth of the Mokau River, the place of
commencement.

All that area in the Taranaki Land District contained in
the Survey Districts of Upper Waitara, Pouatu, Mahoe,
Omona, and Taurakawa, excepting those portions of Upper
Waitara and Pouatu Survey Districts as are described in the
preceding paragraph.

All that area in the Taranaki Land District contained in
the Survey District of Ohura.

All that area in the Taranaki Land District contained in
the Survey District of Ngatimaru.

All that area in the Gisborne Land District contained in
the Survey Districts of Mangatu, Waingaromia, Waimata,
and Uawa.

All that area in the Gisborne Land District contained in
the Survey Districts of Tutamoe, Tokomaru, Waikohu, and
Patutahi.

All that area in the Gisborne Land District contained in
the Survey Districts of Mangaoporo, Waiapu, Mata, and
Waipiro.

All that area in the Hawke’s Bay and Gisborne Land
Districts contained in the Survey District of Nuhaka North.

All that area in the Hawke’s Bay Land District contained

by admeasurement 18,071 acres, more or less, being Matai-
kona Nos. 1, 2, and 3 Blocks: Bounded towards the north
and north-east generally by the Aohanga River, from the
confluence of the Waingongoro Stream with that river to
the sea; thence towards the south-east by the sea to the
mouth of the Mataikona River; thence towards the south-
west by the Mataikona River to the Makatote Stream;
thence towards the west generally by the Makatote Stream
to Section 5, Block XI, Aohanga Survey District; thence
by that section to the Waingongoro Stream; and thence by
the Waingongoro Stream to the Aohanga River, the place of
commencement; excluding Section 145 in Block III, Castle-
point Survey District.

All that area in the Wellington Land District contained in
the Survey District of Mangaone.

All that area in the Wellington Land District containing
265 acres, more or less, being Section 34, Block II, Hunua
Survey District.

All that area in the Nelson Land District contained in the
Survey Districts of Matakitaki, Burnett, and Rahu.

All that area in the Nelson Land District contained in the
Survey Districts of Tutaki and Matiri.

All that area in the Westland Land District contained in
the Survey Districts of Brunner, Waimea, Hohonu, and
Arnold.

All that area in the Westland Land District contained in
the Survey District of Waiwhero.

All that area in the Westland Land District contained in
the Survey District of Mawheranui.

All that area in the Canterbury Land District, being the
whole of Blocks X and XI, Grassmere Survey District, and
those portions of Blocks XIV and XV of the aforesaid survey
district to the northward of the Broken River; saving and
excepting thereout Coal Lease No. 28, containing 1,000 acres.

All that area in the Canterbury Land District and
Ashburton Survey District, containing by admeasurement
439 acres, more or less, being Rural Section 15838 and part of
Rural Section 16213 on the map of the said survey district:
Bounded towards the north-east by Rural Sections 16124
and 15839; towards the south-east by Rural Sections 24788
and 24789; towards the south-west by Rural Section 24981;
and towards the north-west and south-west by other parts of
Rural Section 16213; and again towards the north-west by
a railway and road-line.

All that area in the Southland Land District contained in
Blocks numbered 33, 42, 43, 52, 59, and 60, Survey District
of Hokonui:

All as shown coloured red on map marked Mines N. 5/4/2,
deposited in the office of the Mines Department at Wellington.

Directing Sale of Railway Land at Windsor Junction under
the Public Works Act, 1928.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 10th day of
July, 1933.

Present:

THE RIGHT HON. J. G. COATES PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS by the thirty-fifth section of the Public
Works Act, 1928 (hereinafter termed “the said
Act”), it is enacted that if it is found that any land held,
taken, purchased, or acquired at any time under this or any
other Act or Provincial Ordinance, or otherwise howsoever,
for any public work, is not required for such public work, the
Governor-General may, by Order in Council publicly notified
and gazetted, cause the same to be sold under the conditions
set forth in the said Act:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of
the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of
the powers and authorities conferred upon him by the said
Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the
Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order
and direct the sale of the said land described in the Schedule
hereto.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land: 5 acres 0 roods
31 perches.

Portion of Railway Reserve (parts Sections 6 and 9), Block X,
Awamoko Survey District, Waitaki County.

In the Otago Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 2641, deposited
in the office of the Government Railways Board at Wellington,
and thereon coloured violet.

Revoking Orders in Council bringing certain Provisions of the
Mining Act into Force within certain Parts of New Zealand.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 10th day of
July, 1933.

Present:

THE RIGHT HON. J. G. COATES PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS by Orders in Council set out in the Schedule
hereto, His Excellency the Governor-General of the
Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the
powers and authorities conferred on him by section four
hundred and fourteen, subsection one, of the Mining Act,
1926, declared that the provisions of the Mining Act, 1926,
set out in the First Schedules to the said Orders in Council,
and including all amendments thereof, should apply to
prospecting and mining for and the storage of petroleum and
other mineral oils and of natural gas within the districts
described therein:

And whereas it is expedient to revoke the said Orders in
Council, except with respect to any rights granted there-
under:
