PASSION FRUIT PLANTATIONS, LIMITED.

IN LIQUIDATION.

In the matter of the Companies Act, 1908, and in the matter of PASSION FRUIT PLANTATIONS, LIMITED (in Liquidation).

AT an extraordinary general meeting of the company held at the registered office, No. 16 Yorkshire House, Shortland Street, Auckland, on Monday, 12th June, 1933, the following resolution was duly passed, and was confirmed at a subsequent extraordinary general meeting of the company held at the registered office, No. 16 Yorkshire House, Shortland Street, Auckland, on Monday, 3rd July, 1933 :—

“ That it is proved to its satisfaction that the company cannot by reason of its liabilities continue its business, and that it is advisable to wind up the same, and accordingly that the company be wound up, and that CHARLES FRANKLIN SANDERS, of Auckland, Public Accountant, be and is hereby appointed Liquidator.”

All claims against the said company must be made to the Liquidator at the address given below on or before 14th August, 1933.

OPERA HOUSE SERVICE STATION, LTD., CHURCH STREET, PALMERSTON NORTH.

IN LIQUIDATION.

AT a meeting of the directors held in Palmerston North on the 29th June, 1933, the following resolution was passed :—

Resolved :—

“ That, as the company is unable to continue its business the company forthwith go into liquidation, and that Mr. S. I. MCKENZIE be and is hereby appointed Liquidator. Liquidation to date from 4th July, 1933.”

NOTICE TO OWNER OF LAND UNDER THE PUBLIC TRUST OFFICE ACT, 1908 (PART II), UNCLAIMED LANDS.

TO the owner of that parcel of land containing 40 acres, more or less, being north-western part of Allotment 194, Parish of Okahu, Maungaru Survey District : Bounded on the north by the Maunganui River, on the south-east by south-eastern part Allotment 194 a distance of 2420 links, and on the south-west by a road line 1474 links, 819 links, and 600 links, which said parcel of land was granted to John Menary, of Thames, Bushman, by Crown Grant dated 29th September, 1892.

Whereas after due inquiry the owner of the above-described land cannot be found ; and whereas the said owner has no known agent in New Zealand : Now, the Public Trustee hereby calls upon such owner, within six months from the date of this notice in the New Zealand Gazette, to establish to the satisfaction of the Public Trustee his title to the said land, and if he does not do so the Public Trustee will exercise with regard to the said land all the powers and authorities granted to him in and by the Public Trust Office Act, 1908 (Part II), and its amendments.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership lately subsisting between us the undersigned, RANDAL LEONARD HICKS, JAMES AINGER, and FREDERIC EDWARD TWYFORD, practising as Professional Accountants and Sharebrokers at Bowron’s Buildings, 162 Manchester Street, Christchurch, under the firm name of “Hicks, Ainger, and Twyford,” is dissolved by mutual consent as from the 30th June, 1933, after which date the said Randal Leonard Hicks and James Ainger will continue to practise in partnership at the above address.
