CANCELLING THE RESERVATION OVER PART OF A RESERVE IN SOUTH RAKAIA TOWNSHIP, CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 10th day of July, 1933.
Present:
THE RIGHT HON. J. G. COATES PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by subsection one (b) of section seven of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby cancel the reservation as a reserve for a public pound over the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby declare that the said land, being vested in the Crown, is Crown land available for disposal under the Land Act, 1924.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the Canterbury Land District, containing by admeasurement 4 acres 0 roods 22 perches, more or less, being Lot 3 of Rakaia Suburban Lots (part of Reserve 2446), and bounded as follows:
Towards the north-east by Lot 4, Rakaia Suburban Lots, 400 links; towards the south-east by Lot 5, Rakaia Suburban Lots, 1024 links; towards the south-west by Hardy Road, 400·6 links; and towards the north-west by Lot 1 (part of said Reserve 2446), 1046·5 links: Be all the aforesaid linkages more or less.
As the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 6/1/14B, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

CHANGING THE PURPOSE OF A RESERVE IN SUBURBS OF AUCKLAND, NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 10th day of July, 1933.

THE RIGHT HON. J. G. COATES PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto is a reserve duly set apart as a water reserve: And whereas it is expedient that the reservation over such land shall be changed to a reserve for recreation purposes:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by paragraph (a) of subsection one of section seven of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby declare that the purpose of the reserve described in the Schedule hereto is hereby changed from a water reserve to a reserve for recreation purposes.

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.
Lot 58 of Section 12, Suburbs of Auckland : Area, 5 acres 2 roods, more or less.

CONSENTING TO STOPPING PORTION OF ROAD IN BLOCK VIII, MAHURANGI SURVEY DISTRICT, RODNEY COUNTY.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby consent to the Rodney County Council stopping the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of road permitted to be stopped: 1 acre 2 roods 19·6 perches.
Adjoining or passing through part Allotment 25, Matakana Parish (Auckland R.D.). (S.O. 20253.)
Situated in Block VIII, Mahurangi Survey District.
In the North Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 50649, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

CONSTITUTING THE KOHEKOHE-POLLOK RABBIT DISTRICT.-(Notice No. Ag. 3128.)

WHEREAS by section thirty of the Rabbit Nuisance Act, 1928, it is enacted that the Governor-General may, by Order in Council, on petition in that behalf signed by a majority of the persons qualified to be enrolled on the ratepayers' list of any proposed district, constitute and declare any area of land of not less than one thousand acres a rabbit district under and for the purposes of Part II of the said Act:
And whereas, in pursuance of the provisions of the said section thirty of the said Act, a petition has been received praying that the area of land described in the Schedule hereto be constituted and declared a rabbit district under and for the purposes of Part II of the said Act, and it is deemed expedient to give effect to the prayer of the petitioners accordingly:
Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by the said Act, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby constitute, by the specific name of the "Kohekohe-Pollok Rabbit District," and declare that area of land defined in the Schedule hereto to be a rabbit district under and for the purposes of Part II of the said Act, and doth hereby further declare that the basis on which the Board to be established for the said district shall first levy its general rate shall be on the basis of the acreage of the rateable property in the said district.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that parcel of land in the County of Franklin, North Auckland Land District: Bounded towards the south-west by the Tasman Sea from the north-western corner of Allotment Number 354, Waipipi Parish, to the north-western corner of Allotment Number 52, Awhitu Parish; thence towards the north-west and north generally by the public road forming the north-western or northern boundary of said Allotment Number 52, Allotments 51, 49, and 47, Awhitu Parish, the north-eastern boundary of said Allotment 47 and Allotment number E 48, Awhitu Parish, to the north-eastern corner of said Allotment Number E 48; thence towards the north generally by the public road (known as the Awhitu Central Main Road) forming the northern boundary of Allotments Numbers 58A, 58B, 58C, W 39, E 39, W 60, M 60, E 60, 61, SW 62, M 62, NE 62, W 63, and NE 63, Awhitu Parish, to the north-western corner of Allotment Number 64, Awhitu Parish; thence towards the north-west by the road forming the north-western boundary of Allotment Number 64, Awhitu Parish, to the Manukau Harbour at the north-eastern corner of said Allotment Number 64; thence towards the east generally by the said Manukau Harbour and the Waiuku River Estuary of the said Manukau Harbour to the north-eastern corner of Allotment Number 323, Waipipi Parish; thence towards the south-east, south, and south-west generally by the boundaries of the Waipipi Rabbit District as defined by Order in Council made on the 12th day of December, 1924, and gazetted on the 18th day of the same month at page 2952, to the point of commencement, being the north-western corner of Allotment Number 354, Waipipi Parish.
