Revoking Part of a Proclamation taking Land for the more effective Carrying-out of the Drainage or other Works authorized by the Swamp Drainage Act, 1915, in Block V, Takahue Survey District.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby revoke so much of the Proclamation dated the twentieth day of May, one thousand nine hundred and thirty, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 43 of the fifth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and thirty, taking land for the more effective carrying-out of the drainage or other works authorized by the Swamp Drainage Act, 1915, in Block V, Takahue Survey District, as affects the land described in the Schedule hereto, such land being no longer required.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land not required: 15·5 perches.

Being portion of part Lot 18 on D.P. 405, being part Kaitaia Church Mission land more particularly delineated on D.P. 16705.

Situated in Block V, Takahue Survey District (Auckland R.D.). (S.O. 27325.)

In the North Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 85751, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 7th day of July, 1933.

Amendments to Customs Regulations.—(C. No. 102.)

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 10th day of July, 1933.

Present:

THE RIGHT HON. J. G. COATES PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on him by the Customs Act, 1913 (hereinafter referred to as “the principal Act”), and by the Customs Amendment Act, 1921, and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby amend the Customs (Tariff Preference and General) Regulations, 1925, made by Order in Council on the twenty-first day of November, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-five, and published in the Gazette on the twenty-sixth day of the same month, at page 3265, as amended by the Order in Council made on the eighth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and thirty, and published in the Gazette on the eleventh day of the same month, at page 2750, to the extent set forth below, namely:—

By deleting from clause 4 (b) (i) of Form 3 and clause 7 (b) (i) of Form 4 in the Second Schedule thereto and from the Third Schedule thereto the words “Fibres, natural, animal, or vegetable, even though sorted, dressed, scoured, or similarly treated, including raw silk, organzine, tram silk, grege, poil, crepe, and grenadine, but not including schappe,” and by substituting therefor the following words:—

Cellulose acetate film base.

Cork strip for tipping cigarettes.

Fibres, natural, animal, or vegetable, even though sorted, dressed, scoured, or similarly treated, including raw silk, organzine, tram silk, grege, poil, crepe, grenadine, and single spun schappe yarn.

Nitrocellulose film base.

Amending Regulations for Trout-fishing, Buller Acclimatization District.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 10th day of July, 1933.

Present:

THE RIGHT HON. J. G. COATES PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS by Order in Council dated the twentieth day of April, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-one, and published in the Gazette of the twenty-third day of the same month, at page 1048, regulations were made for trout-fishing in the Buller Acclimatization District:

And whereas it is desirable to amend the said regulations in the manner hereinafter described:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred upon him by the Fisheries Act, 1908, and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in that behalf, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby amend the hereinbefore-recited regulations by revoking in Regulation 10 thereof the words “9 in.” and substituting therefor the words “11 in.”

Amending the Description of Laingholm Domain, North Auckland Land District.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 10th day of July, 1933.

Present:

THE RIGHT HON. J. G. COATES PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS by an Order in Council dated the sixth day of February, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-three, and gazetted on the ninth day of that month, an area of sixteen acres two roods thirty perches, in the Town of Titirangi, North Auckland Land District, was brought under the provisions of Part II of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, as the Laingholm Domain:

And whereas by an Order in Council dated the eleventh day of March, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-three, and gazetted on the twenty-third day of that month, a Domain Board was appointed to have control of the said Laingholm Domain:

And whereas an error was made in the description of the said domain in the Schedules to the Orders in Council hereinbefore referred to, and it is expedient that the error should be rectified:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred upon him by the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority enabling him in this behalf, doth hereby amend the Schedules to the said Orders in Council by substituting the description of the said Laingholm Domain set forth in the Schedule hereto in lieu of the description of the said domain set forth in the Schedules to the said Orders in Council.

SCHEDULE.

LAINGHOLM DOMAIN.—NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.

ALL that area in the North Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 17 acres 0 roods 10 perches, more or less, being Lot 171 on plan No. 19099, deposited in the office of the District Land Registrar, at Auckland, being parts of Allotments 18, 19, and 35, Waikomiti Parish, situate in Blocks VI and X, Titirangi Survey District. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 1/960a, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.
