A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as a road the land in Toetoes Survey District described in the First Schedule hereto; and also do hereby proclaim as closed the road described in the Second Schedule hereto.

Amending Regulations under the Fertilizers Act, 1927.—

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 29th day of June, 1933.

THE RIGHT HON. J. G. COATES PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred upon him by the Fertilizers Act, 1927, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby make the following regulations in amendment of the Fertilizers Regulations, 1928 (hereinafter referred to as “the principal regulations”).

REGULATIONS.

  1. THESE regulations may be cited as the “Fertilizers Regulations, 1928, Amendment No. 1,” and shall be read together with and be deemed to form part of the principal regulations.

  2. These regulations shall come into force on the date of the publication thereof in the Gazette.

  3. Clause 7 of the principal regulations is hereby amended by adding thereto the following additional subclauses :—

(3) The fees payable by a vendor for the registration of brands of fertilizers shall be as follows :—

(a) For the registration of one brand, £3 3s.

(b) For the registration by the same vendor of each additional brand in respect of the same prescribed period, 5s.

Provided that the fees hereby prescribed shall be payable before a certificate of registration is issued.

(4) The fee payable for every inspection by any person of the Register of Vendors or the Register of Brands or any deposited statement shall be two shillings and sixpence.

PURSUANT to the authority conferred upon me by the three-hundred-and-first section of the Justices of the Peace Act, 1927, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby notify and declare that George Clyde Maclaren, being an officer in the service of the Crown holding the office of Postmaster at Mokai, is authorized to take and receive statutory declarations under the three-hundred-and-first section of the Justices of the Peace Act, 1927.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, this 22nd day of June, 1933.
