NOTICE is hereby given that by a resolution of shareholders of Bowen and White, Ltd., dated the 18th
day of January, 1933, it was resolved :—

“ That it has been proved to the satisfaction of the shareholders that the company cannot by reason of its liabilities continue its business and it is advisable to wind up the same, and accordingly that the company be wound up voluntarily and forthwith go into voluntary liquidation, and that CAMPBELL McALLISTER, of Wellington, Public Accountant, be and he is hereby appointed Liquidator for the purposes of the said winding-up.”

AT an extraordinary meeting of members of the abovenamed company, duly convened and held at Thames
on the 10th day of January, 1933, the following extraordinary resolution was duly passed :—

“ That it has been proved to the satisfaction of this meeting that the company cannot by reason of its liabilities continue its business, and it is advisable to wind up the same, and accordingly that the company be wound up voluntarily, and at the same meeting JOHN HENRY BARLETT, Public Accountant of Paeroa, was appointed Liquidator for the purposes of such winding-up.”

THE MUSIC TEACHERS’ REGISTRATION ACT, 1928.

NOTICE is hereby given that elections held in accordance
with the terms of the above Act on the 24th day of
November, 1932, resulted as follows :—

Auckland District : 120 votes recorded, two informal—
Dr. Phillips 87 ; Mr. Barry Coney 82 ; Miss Law 62.
Dr. Phillips and Mr. Coney elected.

Wellington District : Mr. Robert Parker and Mr. J. F.
Watkins returned unopposed.

Canterbury District : 81 votes recorded, 2 informal—Mr.
Empson 57 ; Mr. Williamson 57 ; Mr. Vine 34. Mr. Empson and Mr. Williamson elected.

Otago District : Dr. Galway elected. No other nomination
being received in proper form, the Minister of Education
has approved Mr. Max Scherek to be the second member
representing the district of Otago.

Members now elected will hold office from 9th April, 1933,
to 9th April, 1935.

PURSUANT to the Mining Act, 1926, the undersigned
William Parker, of Kyeburn Diggings, Miner, hereby
applies for a license for a water-race, as specified in the
Schedule hereto, the course whereof has been duly marked
out for the purpose.

Precise time of marking out privilege applied for : 2 p.m.,
3/12/32.

Date and number of miner’s right : 1/12/32 ; No. 38941.

Commencing at the junction of the forks of Shepherd’s Creek

Run 2068, and terminating at Nobbler’s Creek.

Length and intended course of race : Three miles ; northerly.

Points of intake : One.

Estimated time and cost of construction : Constructed.

Mean depth and breadth : 2 ft. by 1 ft. 6 in.

Number of heads to be diverted : Four.

Purpose for which water is to be used : Mining.

Proposed term of license : Twenty-one years.

I, JOHN RAWSON ELDER, Bachelor of Medicine,
Bachelor of Surgery, N.Z., 1933, now residing in
Dunedin, hereby give notice that I intend applying on the
16th February next to have my name placed on the Medical
Register of the Dominion of New Zealand ; and that I have
deposited the evidence of my qualification in the office of the
Department of Health at Dunedin.
