THE SAWMILLERS TIMBER TRADING CO. (1931), LTD.

IN LIQUIDATION.

In the matter of the Companies Act, 1908, and in the matter of the SAWMILLERS TIMBER TRADING Co. (1931), Ltd.

A T an extraordinary general meeting of the members of the above-named company, duly convened and held at the registered office of the company at Victoria Street, Hamilton, on Tuesday, the 28th day of March, 1933, and subsequently confirmed on the 21st day of April, 1933, the following special resolution was passed :-

"That the company be wound up voluntarily, and that J. D. SMITH, of Hamilton, Company Secretary, be and is hereby appointed Liquidator for the purpose of such winding-up."

IN VOLUNTARY LIQUIDATION.

A T the annual meeting of E. C. BAKER, LTD., held at the registered office of the company, 130 Hereford Street, Christchurch, on Friday, the 28th day of April, 1933, at 11 a.m., the following resolution was passed :-

"That, as it has been proved to its satisfaction that the company cannot, by reason of its liabilities, continue its business, the company be wound up voluntarily from this date, and that NORMAN HAROLD BARLOW be appointed Liquidator of the said company."

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.

NOTICE is hereby given that the partnership heretofore subsisting between OSCAR ERIC ANDERSON, LEONARD JAMES COWPER, JOHN LEES, and ARCHIBALD DOUGLAS MICHIE, trading at Okoroire under the style of "The Okoroire Saw-milling Co.," has been dissolved as from the 26th day of April, 1933.

The said Leonard James Cowper and Archibald Douglas Michie will continue the said business on their own account.

All moneys due to and owing by the late firm will be received and paid by the said Leonard James Cowper and Archibald Douglas Michie.

In the matter of the Companies Act, 1908, and in the matter of MIRANUI LIMITED (in Liquidation).

NOTICE is hereby given that an extraordinary general meeting of the company will be held at the Accountant's Chambers, 39 Johnston Street, Wellington, on Tuesday, the 6th day of June, 1933, at 2 p.m., for the purpose of having an account laid before it and of hearing any explanation which may be given by the Liquidator, and also of determining by extraordinary resolution how the books and documents of the company shall be disposed of.

BAY OF ISLANDS COUNTY COUNCIL.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND.

In the matter of the Counties Act, 1920, and the Public Works Act, 1928.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Bay of Islands County Council proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts, to execute a certain public work--namely, a quarry ; and for the purposes of such public work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken.

And notice is hereby further given that a plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the Clerk to the said Council, situate at Kawakawa, and is open for inspection, without fee, by all persons during ordinary office hours.

All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of such land, who have any well-grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said land, must state their objections in writing, and send the same within forty days from the first publication of this notice to the County Clerk at the Council Chambers.

SCHEDULE.

Approximate area of parcels of land required to be taken : 1 acre 1 rood 5 4 perches. Being portion of Section No. Motatau lB 3D. Coloured on plan pink. Situate in the Motatau Survey District.
