A APPLICATION having been made to me for the issue of a provisional certificate of title in the name of PETER GOVANNI MERLO, of Manunui, Contractor, and a provisional mortgage No. 148730 in the name of the STATE ADVANCES SUPERINTENDENT, for l acre, more or less, being Section 27, Manunui Village Settlement, Block II, Hunua Survey District, being all the land comprised in certificate of title, Vol. 268, folio 228, and evidence having been lodged of the loss or destruction of the said certificate of title and mortgage No. 148730, I hereby give notice that I will issue the provisional certificate of title and provisional mortgage as requested after fourteen days from the date of the Gazette containing this notice.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND IN KARAKA-TAUPO BLOCK, BLOCK VI, WAIROA SURVEY DISTRICT, FOR THE PURPOSES OF A ROAD.
N OTICE is hereby given that it is proposed under the provisions of the Public Works Act, 1928, to create a certain public work—to wit, the construction of a road; and for the purposes of such public work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken: And notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the offices of the Manukau County Council, corner Shortland and Princes Streets, Auckland, and is there open for inspection, and that all persons affected by the execution of the said work, or by the taking of the said land, should, if they have any well-grounded objection to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of such land, set forth the same in writing, and send such writing within forty days from the first publication of this notice to the Clerk of the Manukau County Council at the offices aforesaid.
SCHEDULE.
Approximate area of land required to be taken: 27 acres 0 roods 28 perches.
Being part of the Karaka-Taupo Block, Wairoa Survey District, Block VI: as is more particularly delineated on Survey Office Plan Number 27203, and thereon coloured red.
