CROWN LANDS NOTICES.
Lands in the Taranaki, Wellington, and Canterbury Land Districts forfeited.
Department of Lands and Survey, Wellington, 10th May, 1933.
NOTICE is hereby given that the leases and licenses of the undermentioned lands, having been declared forfeited by resolutions of the Land Boards of the respective land districts, the said lands have thereby reverted to the Crown under the provisions of the Land Act, 1924, the Land for Settlements Act, 1925, and the Discharged Soldiers Settlement Act, 1915.

Sections in the Auckland Land District for Lease by Public Auction.
District Lands and Survey Office,
Auckland C. 1, 10th May, 1933.
NOTICE is hereby given that leases of the undermentioned Crown lands will be offered for sale by public auction at the Lands Office, Government Buildings, Te Kuiti, at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, 14th June, 1933, in the manner and at the upset annual rentals shown below.
SCHEDULE.
AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.
For lease in accordance with the provisions of the expired leases of the sections described herein, originally granted under the Native Townships Act, 1910, and regulations made thereunder :—
Otorohanga County.—Otorohanga Township.
Section 11, Block XII : Area, 1 rood 12 perches. Upset annual rental, £2 10s.
Weighted with the sum of £5 for fencing. This sum is payable in cash. Building-site, on the corner of Rangitahi and Kanawa Streets. Section is divided by a swampy creek.
Waitomo County.—Te Kuiti Township.
Lot 1 of Section 12, Block XI : Area, 1 rood 22·5 perches. Upset annual rental, £2 10s.
Unimproved section fronting Seddon Street. Suitable as a building-site.
Lot 2 of Section 15, Block XIX : Area, 1 rood. Upset annual rental, £2 10s.
Weighted with the sum of £5 for improvements. This sum is payable in cash. This section, which is suitable as a building-site, is situated in Ward Street.
Taumarunui County.—Taumarunui Township.
Section 8, Block XXVIII : Area, 3 roods 12 perches. Upset annual rental, £3.
Low-lying section, situated in Makere Street, Matapuna, one and three-quarter miles from Taumarunui Post-office and Railway-station. In its present condition the section is suitable for grazing only.
Section 6, Block XXIX : Area, 3 roods 17 perches. Upset annual rental, 5s.
Section is situated one and a quarter miles from Taumarunui Railway-station, facing Esplanade Road.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS.

The highest bidder shall be the purchaser.

A half-year’s rent at rate offered, together with rent for broken period from date of sale to end of half-year, and lease and registration-fees, together with valuation for improvements (if any), to be paid on fall of hammer.

The term of lease shall be for twenty-one years, with right of renewal for further similar terms at rentals to be fixed by revaluation.

Rental payments to be made half-yearly in advance on the 1st January and 1st July.

The lessee will pay all rates, taxes, and other assessments which may become due and payable in respect of the land.

The lessee will keep the land free of noxious weeds.
-
The lessee will keep all buildings, drains, and fences in good order and repair.
-
The lessee will not carry on any offensive trade.
-
The lessee will not sub-let, transfer, or otherwise dispose of any interest in the land without the previous consent, in writing, of the lessor first had and obtained.

Rental payments in arrears for thirty days or a breach of the conditions of lease, expressed or implied, shall entitle the lessor to re-enter and determine the lease.
The lease and registration fee will be £1 1s.
The land is described for the general information of intending bidders, who are recommended, nevertheless, to make a personal inspection, as the Department is not responsible for the absolute accuracy of any description.
