NOTICE is hereby given in accordance with the provisions of section 188 of the Mining Act, 1926, that unless sufficient cause to the contrary is shown within three months from the date hereof the mining privileges mentioned in the Schedule hereto will be struck off the Register.

CROWN LANDS NOTICES.
Land in the Auckland Land District for Sale or Selection.
District Lands and Survey Office,
Auckland, 18th January, 1933.
NOTICE is hereby given that the undermentioned land will be opened for sale or selection in terms of the Land Act, 1924, and applications will be received at the District Lands and Survey Office, Auckland, up to 4 o'clock p.m. on Friday, 24th February, 1933.
Applicants should appear personally before the Land Board for examination at the District Lands and Survey Office, Auckland, on Tuesday, 28th February, 1933, at 10 o'clock a.m., but if any applicant is unable to attend he may be examined by any other Land Board, or by any Commissioner of Crown Lands.
The land may, at the option of the applicant, be purchased for cash, or on deferred payments, or be selected on renewable lease.
Weighed with £585 for improvements, comprising 330 acres felled and grassed, dwelling of three rooms, rough slab cow-byre and yard, sheep-yards, 50 chains road fencing, half-share 280 chains boundary fencing, 176 chains subdivisional fencing. This sum is payable in cash or by a cash deposit of £10 and the balance, £575, to remain on mortgage payable over a period of thirty-four and a half years by half-yearly instalments of principal and interest combined, amounting to £18 13s. 9d. Grazing property situated on the Waikaretu-Kaawa Road, sixteen miles from Glen Murray Post-office, six miles from Kaawa School, thirty-two miles from Tuakau Railway-station and dairy factory, and thirty miles from Rangiriri saleyards. Access is by twenty-two miles metalled and ten miles formed clay road from Tuakau.
Undulating to hilly and part broken land, of which portions are ploughable. Approximately 30 acres in fair pasture, 300 acres felled and grassed, partly run out, 20 acres swamp, and the balance, 157½ acres, in natural state in fern. Subdivided into eight paddocks.
The soil is a light loamy clay resting on clay and sandstone formation.
Watered by small streams and springs.
Rabbits, ragwort, and blackberry are in evidence.
