LIGHTHOUSE SERVICE.

NOTICE TO MARINERS No. 2 OF 1933.

AUSTRALIA. — SOUTH COAST. — SPENCER GULF.

Wardang Island. — Alteration in Light.

Mariners and others are hereby notified that a red sector will be introduced into the group flashing white light (U) on Wardang Island on or about 15th June, 1933.

Position : On summit. Lat. 34° 30' S., long. 137° 21' E., on Chart No. 752.

Alteration: A red sector will be introduced visible from 211° to 259°.

Note: In other respects the light will remain unaltered. No further notice will be given.

Charts affected: Admiralty Chart No. 752—Port Victoria. Admiralty Chart No. 2389—St. Vincent and Spencer gulfs.

Publication affected: Admiralty List of Lights and Time Signals, Part VI., 1930, No. 2642.

NOTICE TO MARINERS No. 3 OF 1933.

AUSTRALIA. — EAST COAST. — PORT JACKSON.

Macquarie. — Alteration in Light.

Mariners and others are hereby notified that the flashing white light on Outer South Head, Port Jackson, was replaced by a group flashing white light on 26th January, 1933.

Previous notice: No. 7 of 1932.

Position: Outer South Head, Port Jackson. Lat. 33° 51' S., long. 151° 17' E., on Chart No. 1069.

Alterations:

Character: The flashing white light was replaced by a group flashing white light, showing two flashes every ten seconds, thus: Flash, 0·25 sec.; eclipse, 1·75 sec.; flash, 0·25 sec.; eclipse, 7·75 sec.

Power: The power has been increased from 100,000 candles to 1,140,000 candles.

Remarks: In other respects the light remains unaltered.
