Declaring Portions of Road in Block XV, Tauakira Survey District, to be Government Roads.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 10th day of April, 1933.

Present:

His Excellency the Governor-General in Council.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the portions of road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become Government roads.

Domain Board appointed to have Control of the Kumeroa Domain.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 10th day of April, 1933.

Present:

His Excellency the Governor-General in Council.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section forty-four of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint

William James Joseph Miller,
Walter Charles Arrow,
William Henry Toogood,
William John Smyth,
Arthur Edward East,
Edward William Norman,
James Little,
Alfred Ramsden, and
Claude Mackie,

to be the Kumeroa Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby appoint Wednesday, the nineteenth day of April, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-three, at eight o’clock p.m., as the time when, and the Kumeroa Hall as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the Hawke’s Bay Land District, containing by admeasurement 10 acres, being Section 1, Block V, Village of Kumeroa, Tahomaite Survey District.

Directing Sale of Railway Land at Bennett’s Junction under the Public Works Act, 1928.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 10th day of April, 1933.

Present:

His Excellency the Governor-General in Council.

WHEREAS by the thirty-fifth section of the Public Works Act, 1928 (hereinafter termed “the said Act”), it is enacted that if it is found that any land held, taken, purchased, or acquired at any time under this or any other Act or Provincial Ordinance, or otherwise howsoever, for any public work, is not required for such public work, the Governor-General may, by Order in Council publicly notified and gazetted, cause the same to be sold under the condition set forth in the said Act:

And whereas provision is made under the thirty-sixth section of the said Act, whereby any such land may, with the concurrence of the Governor-General, be sold on deferred payments extending over a period not exceeding five years:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by the said Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and direct the sale of the land described in the Schedule hereto under the conditions set forth in the said Act; and doth hereby authorize, pursuant to the said section thirty-six, the acceptance of the purchase-price in instalments extending over a period not exceeding five years.

Increasing Number of Members of Hauraki Plains West Drainage Board.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 10th day of April, 1933.

Present.

His Excellency the Governor-General in Council.

WHEREAS by Order in Council dated the twenty-fourth day of April, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-eight, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the third day of May, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-eight, it was declared, inter alia, that the Board of Trustees of the Hauraki Plains West Drainage District should consist of five persons:

And whereas it is now deemed expedient to fix the number of persons of which the said Drainage Board shall consist at six:

Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred upon him by the Land Drainage Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority enabling him in that behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, doth hereby order and declare that the Board of Trustees of the said District shall consist of six persons, such increase to commence from the general election of members to be held in November, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-five.
