NOTICE is hereby given that the above company by resolution dated the 19th day of November, 1932, went into voluntary liquidation and appointed the undersigned as Liquidator. All persons, firms, companies, or corporations, having claims against the above-named company, are required to send amounts and full particulars thereof to the undersigned on or before the 31st day of January, 1933.

HUTT COUNTY COUNCIL.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Hutt require to take the land as described hereunder, namely:—

At Paraparaumu, comprising part of Suburban Section 8 of Block VIII, Township of Paraparaumu, deposited in the District Land Registry Office as Number 463: Area, 2 perches.

The above area is required for the purposes of a public work—namely, for part of a public road (widening Wellington-Auckland Main Highway and Tainui Street).

And notice is hereby given that a plan of the above is open for inspection at the offices of Messrs. Brandon, Ward, and Hislop, Solicitors, Brandon House, Featherston Street, Wellington, and at the Post-office, Paraparaumu.

All persons affected by such taking are hereby required to set forth in writing well-grounded objections to the execution of such work or the taking of such land and to send such writing within forty days from the first publication of this notice to the said County Council.

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.

THE partnership heretofore subsisting between Allan Shearer Cochran, Marcus Wyndham Paterson, and Thomas Reginald Howell, and/or T. R. Howell, Limited, under the style of “The Napier-Wellington Daily Transport Company,” has been dissolved by consent of the parties. The

business has been sold as a going concern to the Napier-Wellington Daily Transport Company, Limited, and the purchasing company will continue the service on similar lines as heretofore with receiving depots at Wellington, Palmerston North, Dannevirke, Hastings, and Napier (Head Office, Carlyle Street, Napier).

The affairs of the late firm are being wound up by Mr. J. L. Arcus, Public Accountant, Wellington.

All payments due to the old firm must be made to Mr. J. L. Arcus or his agents, Messrs. McCulloch, Butler, and Spence, Public Accountants, Napier and Hastings, and their receipt only will constitute a valid discharge.

All claims against the old firm must be certified as due and owing and sent in to J. L. Arcus, 23 Waring Taylor Street, Wellington, on or before the 30th day of January, 1933, after which date claims not rendered are liable to be excluded.

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.

NOTICE is hereby given that the partnership hitherto existing between the undersigned, carrying on business at 221 Tuam Street, Christchurch, under the style or firm of “Manning and Dorreen,” has been dissolved as from the 17th day of November, 1932, by mutual consent. All debts due to and owing by the said late firm will be received and paid respectively by the said Arthur James Manning who will continue to carry on the said business at the old address.

GREY COUNTY COUNCIL.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND FOR A ROAD.

In the matter of the Counties Act, 1920, and in the matter of the Public Works Act, 1928.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Grey County Council proposes under the provisions of the above-named Acts and all other Acts and powers enabling it in that behalf to execute a certain public work—namely, the construction of a road in portions of Section 2415, Block VI, Mawheranui Survey District, in the Land District of Westland, in the County of Grey, and for the purpose of such public work the lands described in the Schedule hereto are required to be taken: And notice is hereby further given that a plan of the lands so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the said Grey County Council situate at Gresson Street, Greymouth, and is there open for inspection (without fee) by all persons during ordinary office hours, and that all persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of such lands who have any well-grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said lands must set forth their objections in writing and send such writing within forty days from the 23rd day of December, 1932, being the date of the first publication of this notice, to the said Grey County Council, addressed to the County Clerk at the County Office, Gresson Street, Greymouth.
