SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the Canterbury Land District bounded by a
line commencing at the intersection of North Road and the
Hurunui-Waikari Road; thence north-westerly and south-
westerly along the northern side of the Hurunui-Waikari
Road to the south-western corner of part Lot 1 on plan 5471,
deposited in the office of the District Land Registrar at Christ-
church; thence north-easterly along the north-western
boundary of part Lot 1 on plan 5471 aforesaid, and that
boundary produced to the right bank of the Waitohi River;
thence down the right bank of the Waitohi River to the
western side of North Road; thence southerly along the
western side of North Road to the intersection of North Road
and Hurunui-Waikari Road, the point of commencement,
excluding therefrom the public road intersecting the aforesaid
Lot 1.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General, this 21st day of December, 1932.

Declaring an Area to be a Sanctuary under the Animals Pro-
tection and Game Act, 1921-22, Lakes District Acclimatization
District.
BLEDISLOE, Governor-General.
IN pursuance of the powers conferred upon me by section
six of the Animals Protection and Game Act, 1921-22
(hereinafter referred to as the " said Act "), I, Charles, Baron
Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand,
do hereby notify and declare the area described in the Schedule
hereto to be a sanctuary for the purposes of the said Act.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the Otago Land District containing by
admeasurement 287 acres, more or less, being Section 41,
Block I, Section 13, and part of Recreation Reserve "C,"
Block II, Upper Wakatipu Survey District, and bounded as
follows: Towards the north by the southern side of Barra
Street, Town of Kinloch, 1292 links; towards the west
generally by the eastern side of Armadale Street, Town of
Kinloch, 2010 links; towards the north by the southern
side of Skye Street, Town of Kinloch, 3699·1 links; towards
the east by the eastern boundary of Sections 41, Block I,
and 13, Block II, Upper Wakatipu Survey District, 6167·3
links; towards the south by the southern boundary of
Section 13, Block II, and the production of that line,
5094 links; towards the west by the production of the
western side of Islay Street, Town of Kinloch, 4170·5 links.
Be all the aforesaid linkages more or less.
As the same is more particularly shown on plan marked
L. and S. 23/807, deposited in the Head Office of the Depart-
ment of Lands and Survey at Wellington, and thereon edged
purple.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General, this 21st day of December, 1932.

Appointing Members of the Survey Board under the Surveyors
Registration Act, 1928.
Department of Lands and Survey,
Wellington, 9th January, 1933.
PURSUANT to the powers and authorities conferred upon
me by section 3 of the Surveyors Registration Act, 1928,
I, Ethelbert Alfred Ransom, Minister of Lands for the
Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby appoint, as from the
1st day of January, 1933, the undermentioned persons to be
members of the Survey Board constituted by the said Act:-

Thomas Brook,
Charles Kirkpatrick Grierson, and
Archibald Hugh Bogle,
the last-mentioned two persons having been recommended
by the Surveyors' Institute, as required by the said Act.
