NOTICE is hereby given that the Public Trustee has filed in the Supreme Court an election to administer in respect of the several estates of the persons deceased whose names, residences, and occupations (so far as known) are hereunder set forth.

Land in Auckland Land District for Sale by Public Auction.

District Lands and Survey Office,
Auckland, 22nd February, 1933.

NOTICE is hereby given that the undermentioned land will be offered for sale by public auction for cash or on deferred payments at the District Lands and Survey Office, Auckland, on Wednesday, 29th March, 1933, at 11 o’clock a.m., under the provisions of the Land Act, 1924.

SCHEDULE.

AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.—FIRST-CLASS LAND.

Hauraki Plains County.—Wharekawa Survey District.

SECTION 24, Block X: Area, 2 roods 3 perches. Upset price, £50.

Low-lying section, situated on the Auckland–Thames Main Highway, approximately three chains from Waitakaruru Post-office and Store. Access is by service-car from Auckland or Thames. Electric power is available.

Suitable for use as a business-site.

Land in Taranaki Land District for Selection on Renewable Lease.

District Lands and Survey Office,
New Plymouth, 22nd February, 1933.

NOTICE is hereby given that the undermentioned section is open for selection on renewable lease under the Land Act, 1924, and applications will be received at the District Lands and Survey Office, New Plymouth, up to 4 o’clock p.m. on Monday, 20th March, 1933.

Applicants should appear personally for examination at the District Lands and Survey Office, New Plymouth, on Wednesday, 22nd March, 1933, at 10.30 a.m., but if any applicant is unable to attend he may be examined by any other Land Board or by any Commissioner of Crown Lands.

The ballot will be held immediately upon conclusion of the examination of applicants.

SCHEDULE.

TARANAKI LAND DISTRICT.—SECOND-CLASS LAND.

Taumarunui County.—Ohura Survey District.

(Exempt from the payment of rent for two years.)

SECTION 17, Block XVI: Area, 452 acres. Capital value, £300. Renewable lease, half-yearly rent, £6.


After payment of the first half-year’s rent and broken-period rent, if any, exemption from the payment of rent for a period of two years will be granted provided improvements to the value of £30 are effected annually during the exemption period.

A grazing property situated on the Saddler’s Road, one mile from Aukopae School and thirteen miles from Taumarunui Railway-station and Saleyards. Approximately 200 acres are in fair pasture, 92 acres are deteriorated land in fern and teatree, balance, 160 acres, are in standing bush. About 10 acres flat land and 40 acres ploughable, remainder of the section being hilly to steep country with sandstone faces and fairly steep ridges. Subdivided into four paddocks.

Weighted with £700 for improvements, comprising old three-roomed dwelling, woolshed, shed, yards, approximately 120 chains boundary fencing, and 160 chains subdivisional fencing, felling, grassing, and cultivation. Of this amount £625 may remain on instalment mortgage to the State Advances Superintendent (half-yearly instalment £22 11s. 7d.), £60 on instalment mortgage for ten years (half-yearly instalment £3 18s. 10d.), balance of £15 to be paid in cash.

NOTICE is hereby given that the undermentioned section is open for selection on renewable lease under the Land Act, 1924, and the Land for Settlements Act, 1925, and applications will be received at the District Lands and Survey Office, Christchurch, up to 4 o’clock p.m. on Friday, 10th March, 1933.

Applicants should appear personally for examination at the District Lands and Survey Office, Christchurch, on Tuesday, 14th March, 1933, at 10.30 o’clock a.m., but if any applicant is unable to attend he may be examined by any other Land Board or by any Commissioner of Crown Lands.

The ballot will be held immediately upon conclusion of the examination of applicants.

CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT—SECOND-CLASS LAND.—SETTLEMENT LAND.

Ashburton County.—Hinds Survey District.—Strathmore Settlement.

SECTION 2, Block X; Area, 459 acres 3 roods 10 perches. Capital value, £2,565. Half-yearly rental, £64 2s. 6d.
