Amending a Proclamation proclaiming a Road as closed in Block V, Matakohe Survey District, North Auckland Land District.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS by section five of the Land Act, 1924, it is therein provided that every Proclamation, Order in Council, and other instrument, whether made under or by virtue of that Act or of any former Land Act, and all regulations, by-laws, conditions, or rules made by the Governor-General, the Minister, or any Land Board, may in like manner be altered, amended, or revoked from time to time:

And whereas it is necessary to amend a Proclamation issued under the Land Act, 1924, dated the tenth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-two, and published in Gazette of the seventeenth day of that month, page 2287, proclaiming a road as closed in Block V, Matakohe Survey District, and hereinafter referred to as “the said Proclamation”:

Now, therefore, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section five of the Land Act, 1924, do hereby amend the said Proclamation as follows—namely, by the substitution of the words “coloured red” for the words “coloured purple” as applying to the area of 9 perches described in the Schedule to the said Proclamation.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 18th day of February, 1933.

Amending a Proclamation setting apart Land as a Provisional State Forest.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS by a Proclamation dated the fifth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and twenty, and published in the Gazette of the eighth day of that month (hereinafter referred to as “the said Proclamation”), an area of national-endowment land containing fifteen thousand five hundred and fifty acres, more or less (hereinafter referred to as “the said area”), situate in Blocks IX, X, and XIII, Wangapeka Survey District, Blocks VII, VIII, XI, and XII, Owen Survey District, and Block I, Tadmor Survey District, Nelson Land District, and certain other lands were set apart as provisional State forests in terms of section thirty-four of the War Legislaton and Statute Law Amendment Act, 1918, and section two of the State Forests Amendment Act, 1919:

And whereas errors were made in the description of the said area included in the Schedule attached to the said Proclamation, and it is desirable that the errors be rectified:

Now, therefore, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section three of the Forests Amendment Act, 1925, do hereby amend the said Proclamation by substituting the description of the said area set forth in the Schedule hereto for the description of the said area set forth in the said Proclamation.


SCHEDULE.

NELSON LAND DISTRICT.—NELSON FOREST-CONSERVATION REGION.

ALL that area of national-endowment land in the Nelson Land District, containing by admeasurement 15,550 acres, more or less, situated in Blocks IX, X, and XIII, Wangapeka Survey District, Blocks VII, VIII, XI, and XII, Owen Survey District, and Block I, Tadmor Survey District, and bounded generally as follows: Towards the east by Section 15, Block X, Wangapeka Survey District and the Baton River; towards the south and north-east by Application No. 6454; towards the north-west by Application 6454, Sections 4, 3, 2, and 1, Block X aforesaid, and Section 24, Block VI aforesaid; again towards the north-east by Section 24, Block VII, Wangapeka Survey District; towards the south-east by Sections 24, 18, 19, 17, and 23, Block X aforesaid, Section 21, Block XIV, Wangapeka Survey District, the Wangapeka River, Section 1, Block XIII aforesaid, again by the Wangapeka River, Section 5, Block XIII aforesaid,

and again by the Wangapeka River to a point in line with the south-western boundary of Section 6, Block XIII aforesaid; again towards the north-east by a line drawn to the north-western corner of Section 6 aforesaid and by Sections 6 and 9, Block XIII aforesaid; and again towards the south-east, south, north-west, and towards the north by provisional State forest (Gazette, 1920, page 927). Save and excepting Sections 7 and 8, Block XIII, Wangapeka Survey District, Sections 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5, and Application 6741, Block VIII, Owen Survey District, and all public roads.

As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked 73 in green, deposited in the Head Office of the State Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered green.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 14th day of February, 1933.

Land set apart as Provisional State Forest declared to be subject to the Land Act, 1924.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section twenty of the Forests Act, 1921–22, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting on the recommendation of the Minister of Lands, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto, being a portion of a provisional State forest set apart by Proclamation dated the fifth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and twenty, and gazetted on the eighth day of that month, is required for settlement purposes; and, in accordance with the provisions of the said Act, such land shall, from and after the day of the gazetting hereof, cease to be provisional State forest, and shall become subject to the provisions of the Land Act, 1924.


SCHEDULE.

ALL that area of land in the Nelson Land District containing 151 acres, more or less, and being Section 11, Block I, Tapumutu Survey District. As the same is more particularly delineated on a plan marked L. and S. 26/15179, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered blue.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 15th day of February, 1933.

Revocation of the Reservation of Portion of a Permanent State Forest.

A PROCLAMATION.

BY virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the Forests Act, 1921–22, and pursuant to a resolution in that behalf passed by both Houses of Parliament, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby revoke (so far only as it relates to the area of land described in the Schedule hereto) the Proclamation of the twenty-eighth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-seven, whereby the said land (with certain other land) was set apart as a permanent State forest, and declare that the reservation thereby effected is (so far as aforesaid) revoked accordingly.


SCHEDULE.

AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.—AUCKLAND FOREST-CONSERVATION REGION.

ALL that area of national-endowment land in the Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 4 acres 3 roods 13 perches, more or less, being part of Section 1, Block V, Piako Survey District, and bounded generally as follows: Towards the south-east and south-west by another part of
