WHEREAS notice was published in the Gazette of 1931, page 2326, of the Native Minister’s intention to apply the provisions of subsection (3) of section 23 of the Native Land Amendment and Native Land Claims Adjustment Act, 1929, to Karamu F 2 and other Blocks, and known as the Heretaunga Development Scheme:
Now, therefore, I, the said Native Minister, do decide to apply the provisions of section 522 of the Native Land Act, 1931, to the additional land mentioned in the Schedule hereto as a part of such scheme, and hereby give notice of my intention accordingly.
No owner, except with the consent of the Native Minister, is entitled to exercise any rights of ownership in connection with the land affected so as to interfere with or obstruct the carrying-out of the development scheme.

THE following special order made by the Ashburton County Council, merging the Anama Road District, is published in accordance with the provisions of the Counties Act, 1920.

ASHBURTON COUNTY COUNCIL.
THE following resolution was passed at a special meeting of the Ashburton County Council on the 2nd day of December, 1932, and confirmed at an ordinary meeting of the Council held on the 3rd day of February, 1933:—
“‘That in exercise of the powers conferred on it by section 27 of the Counties Act, 1920, the Ashburton County Council, on a petition of a majority of the ratepayers of the Anama Road District, resolves by way of special order that on or after the 31st day of March, 1933, the said Road District shall be merged in the County of Ashburton, and the Board thereof abolished.’”
I hereby certify that the above special order has been duly made.

Open Season for Deer, Moose, and Wapiti, Southland Acclimatization District (Fiordland National Park).
IN exercise of the powers vested in me by the Animals Protection and Game Act, 1921–22, I, James Alexander Young, Minister of Internal Affairs of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby declare the period from the 1st day of March, 1933, to the 30th day of April, 1933 (both days inclusive), to be an open season in portions of the Southland Acclimatization District for the taking or killing of the following imported game—viz., red-deer stags and hinds, wapiti stags and hinds, and moose bulls and cows—within that part of the said acclimatization district comprising portions of the Fiordland National Park, subject to the following conditions.
CONDITIONS.
NOTWITHSTANDING anything contained in the Warrant made under the Animals Protection and Game Act, 1921–22, dated the 20th February, 1929, published in the New Zealand Gazette of 21st idem, and in the Warrants published in the New Zealand Gazette of 2nd February, 1933, at pages 174 and 175, red deer (stags and hinds), wapiti (stags and hinds), and moose (bulls and cows), may be taken or killed within the Fiordland National Park, Southland, during the period hereinbefore mentioned, by persons to whom licenses may be issued by the Chief Postmaster at Invercargill, pursuant to the Warrants published in the New Zealand Gazette of 2nd February, 1933, declaring an open season for deer, moose, and wapiti shooting, in portions of the Southland Acclimatization District, subject, however, to the conditions fixed in those Warrants.

Registered Medical Practitioner prohibited from issuing Prescriptions for dispensing Dangerous Drugs.
PURSUANT to the provisions of Regulation 11 of the Dangerous Drugs Regulations dated the 24th day of September, 1928, and appearing in the New Zealand Gazette published on the 27th day of September, 1928, at page 2873, I, James Alexander Young, Minister for Health, on the recommendation of the Medical Council, hereby prohibit David Douglas Wallace Martin, registered medical practitioner, of Ngaruawahia, from issuing prescriptions for the dispensing of dangerous drugs.

Fixing the Amount of Special Orchard-tax payable in the Te Kauwhata Commercial Fruitgrowing District.—(Notice No. Ag. 3101.)
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred upon me by subsection (3) of section 4 of the Orchard-tax Act, 1927, I, Charles Edward de la Barca Macmillan, Minister of Agriculture, hereby order and direct that, in addition to the general orchard-tax payable under section 3 of the said Act, the occupier of every orchard within the Te Kauwhata Commercial Fruitgrowing District shall in each year be liable to pay a special orchard-tax calculated at the rate of five shillings (5s.) for every acre or part of an acre comprised in his orchard.
