Warrant appointing Conciliation Commissioner under the Industrial Conciliation and Arbitration Act, 1925, and its Amendments.
BLEDISLOE, Governor-General.
IN pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred on me by subsection four (a) and subsection six of section forty of the Industrial Conciliation and Arbitration Act, 1925, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby appoint
Ernest William Frederick Gohns
to be a Conciliation Commissioner under and for the purposes of Part II of the said Act for a period of three months from the fifteenth day of February, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-three.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, this 7th day of February, 1933.

Exempting Crown Lands from certain Provisions of the Mining Act, 1926.
BLEDISLOE, Governor-General.
WHEREAS by section twenty of the Mining Act, 1926, it is, inter alia, enacted that the Governor-General may from time to time, by notice in the Gazette, exempt any Crown lands from mining, or from any specified mining purpose, or from that Act, or any specified provisions of that Act; and that the lands to which any such notice relates shall be specified therein by words of particular description:
And whereas it is desirable that the Crown land specified in the Second Schedule hereto, shall, subject to all existing registered mining privileges, be exempted from the provisions of the Mining Act, 1926, and its amendments, set out in the First Schedule hereto:
Now, therefore, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section twenty of the Mining Act, 1926, and of all other powers and authorities in anywise enabling me in that behalf, do hereby exempt the land particularly described in the Second Schedule hereto from the provisions of those sections of the Mining Act, 1926, mentioned in the First Schedule hereto, subject to all existing registered mining privileges; and do also hereby declare that such exemption shall take effect from the date of the publication of this notice in the Gazette.
FIRST SCHEDULE.
The Mining Act, 1926.—Sections 70, 77, 81, 87, 89, 100, 106, 129, 144, 154.
SECOND SCHEDULE.
All that area in the Otago Land District, bounded by a line commencing at the north-eastern corner of St. Bathan’s Survey District; thence along the eastern boundary of that district to a point due west of Trig. Station K; thence to and along the eastern boundary of the Mount Ida water-race to its intersection with the east branch of the Manuherikia River; thence down that river to its intersection with the eastern boundary of the aforesaid St. Bathan’s Survey District; thence south-westerly along a right line to the north-eastern corner of Section 8, Block IX, Blackstone Survey District; thence along the south-eastern boundary of that section to its south-eastern corner; thence along a right line to the public road at the south-eastern corner of Run 2241; thence along a right line to a point approximately 150 chains due east of the confluence of the Manuherikia River and Poolburn Stream; thence due west to the eastern boundary of Lauder Survey District; thence south-westerly along a right line to the north-western corner of Run 2443; thence along the north-western boundary of that run to the Manuherikia River; thence along the north-western boundary of the land described in New Zealand Gazette 1933, page 12, to the south-western corner of Run 220B; thence along the Manuherikia River to Otago Central Railway; thence along that railway to the south-western boundary of Run 220H; thence along that boundary to a public road intersecting the said Run 220H; thence along that road to its junction with a public road intersecting Run 220G; thence along that road to the eastern boundary of Run 220I; thence along that boundary to its south-eastern corner; thence along a right line to the eastern boundary of Leaning Rock Survey District at a point due east of the intersection of the Manorburn Stream and the Otago Central Railway; thence to that intersection and down the Manorburn Stream and the Manuherikia River to the Clutha River; thence up the Clutha River to the southern boundary of the Leaning Rock Survey District; thence westerly along that boundary to the western boundary of Block XIII of the said Leaning Rock Survey District; thence along the western and northern boundaries of that block, and the northern boundary of Block X to the Clutha River; thence up the Clutha River to the southern boundary of Block III of the said district; thence along the southern boundary of that block to its south-eastern corner; thence along a right line to the south-western corner of Block XIV, Wakefield Survey District; thence along the southern boundary of that block to the western boundary of Block I, Lauder Survey District; thence along the western boundary of the said Block I, to its north-western corner; thence along a right line to the north-eastern corner of Block VII, Lauder Survey District; thence along a right line to the north-eastern corner of Block XIII, Lauder Survey District; thence to and along the western boundary of St. Bathan’s Survey District to a point due west of Dunstan Peak; thence due east for an approximate distance of 400 chains; thence north-easterly along a right line passing through Trig. Station I to the northern boundary of St. Bathan’s Survey District; thence easterly along that boundary to the north-eastern corner of the said St. Bathan’s Survey District the point of commencement. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan numbered 18/66, and deposited in the Head Office of the Mines Department at Wellington, and thereon coloured blue.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, this 8th day of February, 1933.

Revoking Notice exempting Crown Lands from certain Provisions of the Mining Act, 1926.
BLEDISLOE, Governor-General.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred upon me by section seven of the Mining Act, 1926, and of every other power and authority enabling me in this behalf, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby as from the date of the publication hereof in the Gazette, revoke the notice dated the second day of August, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-two, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 52 of the fourth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-two, on page 1776, exempting Crown lands from certain provisions of the Mining Act, 1926.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, this 4th day of February, 1933.
