a registered branch within the meaning of the last-named Act (hereinafter called “ the said branch ”), in respect of the period of two years ending on the thirty-first day of December, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-one, would impose undue hardship on the said branch, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, doth hereby grant to the said branch exemption to the extent hereinafter set out from the obligations of the said subsection four in respect of the period aforesaid—that is to say, that in lieu of the interest at the rate of not less than four per centum per annum payable by the said branch into any benefit fund of the said branch in terms of the said subsection four it shall be sufficient compliance with the obligations of the said subsection four relating to moneys forming part of any benefit fund of the said branch invested in the purchase of the land referred to in the Schedule hereto and/or the erection of offices or buildings on the said land if there be paid by the said branch into any such benefit fund as aforesaid by way of interest for the period of two years aforesaid a sum equal to the net amount received by the said branch by way of rents and premiums paid (whether before, during, or after the period of two years aforesaid) for any lease, letting, or other tenancy or license of or relating to any part of the said premises during the period of two years aforesaid, and by way of any other revenue obtained from the said premises during the period of two years aforesaid.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section forty-four of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint

Thomas Julian,
George Ernest Julian,
Thomas Charles Bredin,
Charles Stuart Muir,
John Aylward,
Joseph Alois Meier, and
Patrick Brophy,

to be the Warea Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby appoint Wednesday, the tenth day of February, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-two, at eight o’clock p.m., as the time when, and the Warea Domain Pavilion, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

SCHEDULE.

WAREA DOMAIN.

ALL that area in the Taranaki Land District, containing by admeasurement 18 acres 3 roods, more or less, being part of Section 16, Block IV, Cape Survey District: Bounded towards the east by Section 1, Block IX, 870·9 links, from the Waiwerunui Stream to a public road; towards the south by a public road, 1535·9 links; towards the west by South Road, 1136·5 links; towards the north and again towards the west by the other part of Section 16, 190·6 and 296 links respectively; and again towards the north by the Waiwerunui Stream to the place of commencement, and being all the land comprised in the certificate of title, Taranaki, Vol. 80, folio 215.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 26th day of January, 1932.

THE RIGHT HON. G. W. FORBES, PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section forty-five of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint

George Jeffrey Friend,
Frederick James Poole,
James Donovan,
Norman Edmund Friend,
Frank Heveldt,
William McCluggage, and
Lawrence Millard

to be the Okarito Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby appoint Saturday, the fifth day of March, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-two, at seven o’clock p.m., as the time when, and the Okarito Library, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

SCHEDULE.

OKARITO DOMAIN.—WESTLAND LAND DISTRICT.

RESERVE 1007, Block XI, Okarito Survey District: Area, 4 acres 3 roods 23 perches. Also all that area in the Westland Land District, containing by admeasurement 159 acres 2 roods, more or less, being Reserve No. 201 and part of Reserve No. 204, together with land known as the Okarito Racecourse, Okarito Survey District: Bounded towards the north-west by a road reserve 100 links wide along the shore of the Okarito Lagoon, 5250 links, more or less; towards the east generally by the Okarito Lagoon; and towards the south and south-west by the other portion of Reserve No. 204, 4300 and 800 links, more or less. As the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 1106, deposited at the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon coloured pink.
