Prohibition of Issue of Money-orders and Transmission of Postal Correspondence in connection with Overseas Lotteries.
THE Postmaster-General of the Dominion of New Zealand having reasonable ground for supposing that the company and persons whose names and addresses are shown in the Schedule hereunder are engaged in promoting or carrying out a lottery or scheme of chance, it is hereby ordered, under section 32 of the Post and Telegraph Act, 1928, that no money-order in favour of the said company or either of the said persons shall be issued, and that no postal packet addressed to the said company or either of the said persons (either by their own or any fictitious or assumed name) or addressed to either of the addresses in the Schedule hereunder without a name, shall be either registered or forwarded by the Post Office of New Zealand.

PURSUANT to section 24 of the Fire Brigades Act, 1926, I, Adam Hamilton, Minister of Internal Affairs, charged with the administration of the said Act, do hereby appoint Monday, 23rd January, 1933, to be the day for the holding of an election of four members of the Auckland Metropolitan Fire Board by fire-insurance companies, which for the time being are carrying on business within the Auckland Metropolitan Fire District.
