BANKS PENINSULA ELECTRIC-POWER BOARD.
SPECIAL ORDER AUTHORIZING RAISING OF SPECIAL LOAN.
In the matter of the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1926, and its amendments, and in the matter of the Electric-power Boards Act, 1925, and its amendments, and in the matter of a special loan to be raised by the Banks Peninsula Electric-power Board to be known as "The No. 3 Renewal Loan, £18,000, 1932," having a currency of twenty-five years, and reserving interest at £5 5s. per centum per annum, and annual sinking fund at £2 2s. per centum.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1926, and the Electric-power Boards Act, 1925, and all other Acts or powers enabling it in that behalf, the Banks Peninsula Electric-power Board, a corporate body duly incorporated under the Electric-power Boards Act, 1925, hereby resolves as follows:

That the Banks Peninsula Electric-power Board with the precedent sanction of the Local Government Loans Board granted under the Local Government Loans Board Act, 1926, and with the precedent consent of the Governor-General in Council under the Local Bodies' Loans Board Act, 1926, by Order in Council published in the New Zealand Gazette of the 4th day of August, 1932, No. 52, at page 1770, do raise by special order pursuant to the authority in that behalf contained in section 17 of the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1926, a special loan of £18,000, to be known as "The Banks Peninsula Electric-power Board No. 3 Renewal Loan, £18,000, 1932," for the purpose of paying off the Banks Peninsula Electric-power Board Loan No. 3, £20,000, 1922, being part of a loan of £100,000 heretofore raised by the said Board, such loan to be for a period not exceeding twenty-five years subject to the rate of interest payable in respect of such loan not exceeding £5 5s. per centum per annum, and subject to a sinking fund being established for the redemption of the said loan at the expiration of twenty-five years by payments of £2 2s. per centum at intervals of not more than one year until such loan is fully paid off.

That for the purposes of providing interest, sinking fund, and other charges on a loan of £18,000 known as "The Banks Peninsula Electric-Power Board No. 3 Renewal Loan, £18,000, 1932," the Banks Peninsula Electric-power Board under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of paying off the Banks Peninsula Electric-power Board's Loan No. 3, £20,000, 1922, being part of a loan of £100,000, hereby makes and levies a special rate of one-twelfth of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) of all rateable property in the Banks Peninsula Electric-power Board District comprising the counties of Akaroa, Wairewa, Mount Herbert, the Borough of Akaroa, and the Diamond Harbour Settlement in the Borough of Lyttelton constituted under the Electric-power Boards Act as defined in the Proclamation proclaiming the said district appearing in the New Zealand Gazette No. 1 of the 8th day of January, 1920, and the New Zealand Gazette No. 99 of the 24th day of November, 1921, page 2804, and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and shall be payable yearly on the 1st day of June in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of twenty-five years, or until the same be fully paid off.
Dated this 31st day of October, 1932.
The above resolution was duly passed by the Banks Peninsula Electric-power Board on the 31st day of October, 1932, and confirmed as a special order by the said Board on the 5th day of December, 1932.
The common seal of the Banks Peninsula Electric-power Board was hereby affixed at the office of and pursuant to a resolution of the said Board in the presence of—

MEDICAL REGISTRATION.
I, ALBERT ARTHUR HUSE, L.R.C.P., Edin., 1927, now residing in Auckland, hereby give notice that I intend applying on the 13th January next to have my name placed on the Medical Register of the Dominion of New Zealand; and that I have deposited the evidence of my qualification in the office of the Department of Health at Auckland.

"That it is proved to its satisfaction that the company cannot by reason of its liabilities continue its business and that it is advisable to wind up same, and that same be wound up voluntarily.
"That Mr. L. C. H. DAWSON, Public Accountant, 19 Empire Buildings, Swanson Street, Auckland, be and is hereby appointed Liquidator."
These resolutions were passed and the minutes signed by the chairman, A. H. SEIVEWRIGHT.

In the matter of the Companies Act, 1908, and amendments, and in the matter of THE NASH NEW ZEALAND MOTORS, LIMITED.
NOTICE is hereby given that at a general meeting of the shareholders of The Nash New Zealand Motors, Limited, duly convened for and held at Christchurch on the 10th day of December, 1932, the following extraordinary resolution was duly passed:
"That it is proved to the satisfaction of the company that it cannot by reason of its liabilities continue its business and that it is advisable to wind up the same."
At the same meeting, in pursuance of the said extraordinary resolution to wind up the said company, ARCHIBALD HENRY ANTHONY, of Christchurch, Company-manager (temporary resident in Wellington) was appointed Liquidator.

SUBSCRIPTIONS.--The subscription is at the rate of £4 per annum, including postage, PAYABLE IN ADVANCE. Single copies of the Gazette as follows:
Ordinary Weekly Gazette : For the first 32 pages, 9d., increasing by 3d. for every subsequent 16 pages or part thereof; postage, 1d.
Supplementary and Extraordinary Gazettes : For the first 8 pages, 6d.; over 8 pages and not exceeding 32 pages, 9d.; increasing by 3d. for every subsequent 16 pages or part thereof; postage, 1d.
Advertisements are charged at the rate of 6d. per line for the first insertion, and 3d. per line for the second and any subsequent insertion.
Statements under the Mining Act are uniformly charged 23s.
All advertisements should be written on one side of the paper, and signatures, &c., should be written in a legible hand.
The number of insertions required must be written across the face of the advertisement.
The New Zealand Gazette is published on Thursday evening of each week, and notices for insertion must be received by the Government Printer before 12 o'clock of the day preceding publication.
