plans of the lands so required to be taken and stopped are deposited in the Public Office of the Clerk to the said Council, situated in Taupiri Street, Te Kuiti, and are open for inspection without fee by all persons during ordinary office hours.
All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking and stopping of such lands who have any well-grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking and stopping of the said lands, must state their objections in writing and send the same within forty days from the first publication of this notice—namely, on or before the 16th day of January, 1933—to the County Clerk at the Council Chambers, Taupiri Street, Te Kuiti.

THE PONEKE CLAIMS, LIMITED.
AT an extraordinary general meeting of the Poneke Claims, Limited, held at the office of H. A. Gold, 20 Brandon Street, Wellington, on Tuesday, the 6th December, 1932, at 3.30 p.m., the following extraordinary resolution was passed:—
"(a) That pursuant to the provision of the Kawarau Gold-mining Amalgamation Act, 1930, the Poneke Claims, Limited, do enter upon the amalgamation referred to in the said Act in terms of amalgamation agreement dated 16th June, 1930, referred to in the said Act and modified by an agreement dated 30th June, 1932, and made between the Kawarau Gold-mining Company, Limited, and the Amalgamated Kawarau Gold-mining Company, Limited (hereinafter called the 'amalgamated company'), and do transfer its mining claims and privileges to the amalgamated company.
"(b) That the company be wound up voluntarily, and that HENRY ARTHUR GOLD, of Wellington, Public Accountant, be and is hereby appointed Liquidator for the purpose of such winding-up, and is authorized to apply fully paid shares in the amalgamated company received by the company in or towards the adjustment of the rights inter se of the shareholders of the company.
"(c) That the directors from time to time fix the remuneration of the Liquidator and may, with his consent, pay same wholly or partly in shares of the amalgamated company."

AT an extraordinary general meeting of the Gloaming Claims, Limited, held at the Meeting Hall, Accountants' Chambers, 39 Johnston Street, Wellington, on Tuesday, the 6th December, 1932, at 4 p.m., the following extraordinary resolution was passed:—

IN VOLUNTARY LIQUIDATION.
In the matter of the Companies Act, 1908, and in the matter of Dougall Coombs and Co., Ltd., Engineers and Iron Founders, a company duly incorporated and having its registered office in Holland Street, Wellington.
NOTICE is hereby given that on the 8th day of December, 1932, the following resolution was carried:—
"That consequent upon the death of Mr. Archibald Dougall, it is proved to the satisfaction of the company that it cannot by reason thereof continue its business and that it is advisable to wind up the same, and accordingly that this company be wound up voluntarily, and that Mr. T. FORSYTH, of Wellington, auditor of the company, be and he is hereby appointed Liquidator for the purpose of such winding-up."
All persons having claims against the company are requested to lodge them with the undersigned not later than 14th January, 1933.
