A Post-office where Miners’ Rights may be issued.

BLEDISLOE, Governor-General

IN pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred upon me by the Mining Act, 1926, and of all other powers and authorities enabling me in this behalf, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby declare the post-office at

Coromandel

to be a post-office at which miners’ rights may be issued by the Postmaster in charge of such post-office.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, this 5th day of December, 1932.

Arthur Pass National Park.—Chairman of Board appointed.

WHEREAS by Order in Council dated the fourteenth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-two, and published in Gazette of the seventeenth day of that month, a Board was appointed to have the control and management of the Arthur Pass National Park, in pursuance of section 73 of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928 :

And whereas it is now expedient that a member of the said Board should be appointed as the Chairman thereof :

Now, therefore, I, Ethelbert Alfred Ransom, Minister of Lands, acting in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred upon me by section 75 of the said Act, do hereby appoint

The Commissioner of Crown Lands for the Canterbury Land District

to be the Chairman of the Arthur Pass National Park Board hereinbefore referred to.

N.Z. STAFF CORPS.

Captain G. H. Clifton, M.C., relinquishes the appointments of Adjutant, 1st Field Company, Corps of N.Z. Engineers, and Northern Depot, N.Z. Corps of Signals, dated 27th November, 1932, and on proceeding to England to undergo a course at the Staff College, Camberley, is seconded, dated 29th November, 1932.

Captain A. W. Greville, relinquishes the appointment of Assistant Adjutant and Quartermaster-General, Northern Command, and is appointed Adjutant, 1st Field Company, Corps of N.Z. Engineers, and Northern Depot, N.Z. Corps of Signals. Dated 28th November, 1932.

Captain D. H. W. H. Donaldson, from G.H.Q. Training Depot, Trentham, to be Assistant Adjutant and Quartermaster-General, Northern Command, Auckland. Dated 29th November, 1932.

THE CANTERBURY YEOMANRY CAVALRY.

REGIMENT OF N.Z. ARTILLERY.

Lieutenant F. E. Reeves, 2nd Field Brigade (St. Patrick’s College, Artillery Section), to be Captain. Dated 26th November, 1932.

Lieutenant N. W. M. Hawkins, the Canterbury Regiment, is attached under the provisions of para. 141, General Regulations, 1927, and is posted to the 16th Light Battery. Dated 21st November, 1932.

THE AUCKLAND REGIMENT (COUNTESS OF RANFURLY’S OWN).

Captain J. C. Lyne, from the Waikato Regiment, to be Captain, with seniority from 1st July, 1930, and is posted to the 1st Battalion. Dated 22nd November, 1932.

Lieutenant J. S. Dickinson, 1st Battalion, to be Captain. Dated 28th November, 1932.

Lieutenant J. de L. Lorimer, Regimental Supernumerary List, is transferred to the Reserve of Officers, Class I (b), R.D. 4. Dated 22nd November, 1932.
