Directing the Sale of stopped Government Roads in Blocks VI, VII, and X, Mahurangi Survey District, under the Public Works Act, 1928.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 7th day of December, 1932.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by the Public Works Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby direct the sale of the stopped Government roads described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

Situated in the Parish of Mahurangi (Auckland R.D.).

In the North Auckland Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plans marked and coloured as above mentioned, and deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by the Public Works Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby direct the sale of the land described in the Schedule hereto, such land being no longer required for the public work for which it was taken.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land directed to be sold: 2 roods.

Being Reserve No. 313 (Borough of Ross).

In the Westland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 24525, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby consent to the Mangonui County Council stopping the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of road permitted to be stopped: 1 acre 3 roods 13 perches.

Adjoining or passing through Allotments 17, 18, and N.E. 20.

Domain Board appointed to have Control of the Mount Somers Domain.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 7th day of December, 1932.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section forty-four of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint

Harold Horace Hood,
Arthur Nattle Grigg,
John McClimont,
Jasper West Comyns, and
Edmond Charles Wood

to be the Mount Somers Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby appoint Saturday, the seventh day of January, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-three, at eight o’clock p.m., as the time when, and the Public Library, Mount Somers, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

MOUNT SOMERS DOMAIN.—CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT.

RESERVE 1633, Block XV, Alford Survey District: Area, 30 acres 1 rood, more or less.

Also Reserve 2639, Block XV, Alford Survey District: Area, 91 acres 3 roods, more or less.
