Land set apart as Provisional State Forest declared to be subject
to the Land Act, 1924.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
conferred upon me by section twenty of the Forests
Act, 1921-22, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting on the recommendation
of the Minister of Lands, do hereby proclaim and declare
that the land described in the Schedule hereto, being portion
of Provisional State Forest No. 1715 set apart by Proclamation
dated the fourteenth day of November, one thousand nine
hundred and twenty-one, and gazetted on the seventeenth
day of that month, is required for settlement purposes; and,
in accordance with the provisions of the said Act, such land
shall, from and after the day of the gazetting hereof, cease to
be provisional State forest, and shall become subject to the
provisions of the Land Act, 1924.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the Westland Land District containing by
admeasurement 144 acres, more or less, being part of Pro-
visional State Forest Reserve 1715, Block III, Brunner Survey
District. As the same is more particularly delineated on plan
marked L. and S. X/98/64A, deposited in the Head Office,
Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon
bordered green.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 25th day of
November, 1932.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by
section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, Charles, Baron
Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand,
do hereby proclaim as closed the road in Christchurch Survey
District described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

ROAD CLOSED.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of road closed: 10-03 perches.
Adjoining Reserves 63, 63A, and Rural Section 871.
Situated in Block XVI, Christchurch Survey District. (S.O.
plan 2290.)

In the Canterbury Land District; as the same is more
particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 6/1/500A,
deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and
Survey, at Wellington, under No. 2606, and thereon coloured
green.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 25th day of
November, 1932.

Revoking the Setting-apart of Land for Selection by Discharged
Soldiers, under Special Tenures, in the Auckland Land
District.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
conferred upon me by the Discharged Soldiers Settlement
Act, 1915, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of
the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby revoke the Pro-
clamation made on the third day of November, one thousand
nine hundred and nineteen, and published in the Gazette of
the sixth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and
nineteen, setting apart lands for selection by discharged
soldiers under the Discharged Soldiers Settlement Act, 1915,
in so far as it relates to the lands in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.

Ohinemuri County.—Waihou Survey District.

SECTION 43, Block I, Waihou Survey District: Area, 107
acres 3 roods 22 perches.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 17th day of
November, 1932.

Revoking the Setting-apart of Crown Land for Selection by Dis-
charged Soldiers, under Ordinary Tenures, in the Taranaki
Land District.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
conferred upon me by the Discharged Soldiers Settlement
Act, 1915, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby revoke the Pro-
clamation made on the tenth day of February, one thousand
nine hundred and twenty-one, and published in the Gazette of
the seventeenth day of February, one thousand nine hundred
and twenty-one, setting apart lands for selection by discharged
soldiers under the Land Act, 1908, in so far as it relates to
the land in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

TARANAKI LAND DISTRICT.—CROWN LAND.

Waitomo County.—Totoro Survey District.

SECTION 12, Block V: Area, 200 acres.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 24th day of
November, 1932.

Proclaiming Native Land to be vested in His Majesty under
Section 450 of the Native Land Act, 1931.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS by section four hundred and fifty of the
Native Land Act, 1931 (hereinafter referred to as
“the said Act”), it is provided, inter alia, that the Crown
may purchase any Native land in pursuance of a resolution
of the assembled owners passed and confirmed in accordance
with Part XVIII of the said Act; and on the resolution being
adopted by the Native Land Purchase Board it shall become a
contract of purchase as between the Crown and all persons
who are the owners of the land; and the Governor-General
may, by Proclamation, at any time after the contract of
purchase has been so made, declare that the land so purchased
is vested in His Majesty the King, and it shall vest accordingly
and shall become Crown land:

And whereas pursuant to the powers in that behalf a
contract has been made between the Crown and the owners
of the land set out in the Schedule hereto for the exchange
of such land for Crown land:

Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the power and
authority conferred upon me by section four hundred and
fifty of the said Act, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim
and declare that the land set out in the Schedule hereto is
vested in His Majesty the King.

SCHEDULE.

Hauraki Native Reserve. Approximate area, 5 acres. Block
XII, Wairoa Survey District.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the seal of that Dominion, this 26th day of
November, 1932.
