as aforesaid; thence by the eastern boundaries of Sections
7, 8, and 9, Provisional State Forest Reserves, Block IV,
Kaihu Survey District, to a public road, and by that road
which forms the north-eastern boundaries of the last-mentioned
Section 9 and Section 11, Provisional State Forest Reserve,
Block XVI, Tutamoe Survey District, to and across a public
road, and by the road forming the eastern boundary of
Section 2 of the last-mentioned block to its north-eastern
corner; thence by the northern boundaries of the said Section
2, the Kairara Kauri-gum Reserve, a public road, Section 10,
Quarry Reserve, and an area of Crown land, all of Block XVI,
Tutamoe Survey District, to the boundary of the Kaihu
Riding hereinbefore described, and by the said riding boundary
to the eastern boundary of Section 12, Provisional State
Forest Reserve, Block XIV, Tutamoe Survey District; thence
towards the west generally by the said Section 12 and Sections
13, Provisional State Forest Reserve, and 5, Block X, Tutamoe
Survey District, to the point of commencement.
Awakino Riding.
Commencing at a point on the eastern boundary of State
Forest Reserve, Block XV, Tutamoe Survey District, as
described in New Zealand Gazette, No. 54, of the 14th October,
1886, page 1304, being the intersection of the boundaries of
the Kaihu and Tangowahine Ridings hereinbefore described,
and bounded towards the north and east generally by the
said Tangowahine Riding to the Wairoa River; thence by
that river to the Dargaville Borough boundary as described
in New Zealand Gazette, No. 38, of the 14th May, 1908, page
1360; thence towards the south generally by the said borough
boundary to the Kaihu Riding hereinbefore described; thence
on the west generally by the said riding to the point of
commencement.
Maungaru Riding.
Commencing at the south-westerly corner of Section 8A,
Block X, Mangakahia Survey District, being the intersection
of the Tangowahine Riding, hereinbefore described, and the
Whangarei County boundary, as described in New Zealand
Gazette, No. 66, of the 25th September, 1930, page 2824, and
bounded towards the north generally by the said Whangarei
County boundary to the Wairoa River; thence towards the
east and south generally by the said Wairoa River to the
aforementioned Tangowahine Riding; thence towards the west
generally by the said riding to the point of commencement.

The above special order was duly passed at a special meeting
of the Hobson County Council, held on the 20th day of
October, 1931, and confirmed at a subsequent meeting of the
said Council, held on the 17th day of November, 1931, and
the common seal of the Chairman, Councillors, and
Inhabitants of the County of Hobson was by resolution of
the said Council hereto affixed the 17th day of November,
1931, in the presence of--
