Change of Name of Locality “White Hills” to “Pine Valley,” County of Waitemata.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS settlers in the locality known as “White Hills,” in the County of Waitemata, desire that the name of such locality should be changed to “Pine Valley,” and it is considered expedient to alter the same:

Now, therefore, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by the Designation of Districts Act, 1908, and of all other powers and authorities enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the name of the locality known as “White Hills,” in the County of Waitemata, shall be and the same is hereby altered to “Pine Valley,” and do assign the last-mentioned name to such locality accordingly; and also do hereby proclaim and declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on the first day of May, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-two, not being earlier than six months after the first publication thereof in the Gazette.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 15th day of October, 1931.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by section three of the Maeseurs Registration Act, 1920, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby appoint Walter Sneddon Robertson, M.B., Ch.B.,

to be a member of the Maeseurs Registration Board under the aforesaid Act.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, this 19th day of January, 1932.

Revoking Notification of Reserves in the Auckland Land District.

BLEDISLOE, Governor-General.

WHEREAS by section three hundred and sixty-three of the Land Act, 1924, it is enacted that where there has been any error of description made in any notification of any intended reserve, or where there appears a great discrepancy in the area of any intended reserve after the same shall have been surveyed, the Governor-General may cancel any notification that may have been made in respect of such reserve, and issue fresh notification in respect thereof, with amended particulars and description:

And whereas an error was made in the area of Allotments 400 and 401, Te Papa Parish, Auckland Land District, in the Warrants of the fourteenth day of January, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-eight, and the twentieth day of April, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-eight, and published in Gazette, No. 4, of the nineteenth day of January, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-eight, and Gazette, No. 26, of the twenty-sixth day of April, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-eight, respectively, reserving the land for an agricultural and pastoral society’s showground, and it is expedient to cancel the said notifications in so far as they relate to Allotments 400 and 401, Te Papa Parish aforesaid:

And whereas an error was made in the area of Allotment 401A, Te Papa Parish, Auckland Land District, in the Warrants of the twenty-second day of November, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-four, and the fourth day of March, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-five, and published in Gazette No. 85, of the twenty-ninth day of November, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-four, and Gazette No. 18, of the seventh day of March, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-five, respectively, reserving the land for an agricultural and pastoral society’s showground, and it is expedient to cancel the said notifications in so far as they relate to Allotment 401A, Te Papa Parish aforesaid:

Now, therefore, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby revoke the aforesaid Warrants in so far as they relate to the said Allotments 400, 401, and 401A, Te Papa Parish.

Assigning Name “Pukemoe” to a certain Locality.

BLEDISLOE, Governor-General.

WHEREAS by the Designation of Districts Act, 1908, it is enacted that the Governor-General may assign a name or designation to any district or other place or locality whatsoever in New Zealand:

And whereas it is considered expedient that the name “Pukemoe” should be assigned to the locality hereinafter referred to, and it is desirable to assign such name accordingly:

Now, therefore, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in me by the Designation of Districts Act, 1908, do hereby assign as from the date hereof the name “Pukemoe” to the locality described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, bounded by a line commencing at the confluence of the Mokau River and the Mangaawakino Stream; thence up the middle of the Mangaawakino Stream to the north-western boundary of the western portion of Mangaawakino No. 4 Block; thence along the north-western boundary of that block to its north-western corner at Te Horo Totara; thence along the north-western and northern boundaries of Mangaawakino No. 1A Block to its north-eastern corner; thence along the western boundary of Mangaawakino No. 1C Block to its south-western corner; thence along the north-western boundary of Mangarapa B No. 2 Block to the Mokau River; thence by the Mokau River to the point of commencement.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, this 25th day of January, 1932.

Special Provision with respect to Deer in Portion of certain AccIimization Districts.

BLEDISLOE, Governor-General.

IN pursuance of the powers vested in me by the Animals Protection and Game Act, 1921-22 (hereinafter referred to as “the said Act”), I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby declare that deer shall be deemed to be included in the Second Schedule of the said Act with respect to the areas described in the First, Second, and Third Schedules hereto:

And I do hereby further declare that this Warrant shall come into force on the first day of March, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-two, as regards the areas described in the First Schedule hereto; on the first day of February, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-two, as regards the area described in the Second Schedule hereto; and on the fifteenth day of February, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-two, as regards the areas described in the Third Schedule hereto; and shall expire on the thirtieth day of April, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-two, as regards the areas described in the First and Second Schedules hereto; and on the fifteenth day of May, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-two, as regards the areas described in the Third Schedule hereto; and from and after the aforesaid dates of expiry red deer shall cease to be included in the Second Schedule of the said Act with respect to the areas affected hereby.

FIRST SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the Southland Land District, bounded by a line commencing at a point on the shore of South Fiord, Lake Te Anau, due north of Mount Maury; thence easterly and southerly generally along the shore of Lake Te Anau to the Waiau River; thence down that river to Lake Manapouri; thence by Lake Manapouri to the Waiau River; thence down the Waiau River to its confluence with the
