A PROCLAMATION.
BY virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section eighteen of the Forests Act, 1921-22, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby set apart the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto as a permanent State forest.
SCHEDULE.
AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT—AUCKLAND FOREST-CONSERVATION REGION.
Part of State Forest No. 150 (Tairua Plantation). ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 912 acres, more or less, being Section 4, Block XII, Tairua Survey District, and bounded generally as follows: Towards the north-west by Section 7, Block XII, aforesaid (State Forest No. 150, Gazette, 1931, page 118); towards the east and north by Section 3, Block XII aforesaid; again towards the east by a reserve along the foreshore of the Bay of Plenty; and towards the south-west by a reserve along the foreshore of the Whangamata Harbour. As the same is more particularly delineated on plan No. 23/23, deposited in the Head Office of the State Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. (Auckland plan S.O. 19217.)
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 26th day of January, 1932.

Altering Boundaries of Hobson and Whangarei Counties, and including Areas in Mangakahia Riding, Whangarei County.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS it is provided by subsection two of section fourteen of the Counties Act, 1920, that the boundaries of any one or more counties may be altered in accordance with a resolution proposing the alteration passed by the Council of each of such counties in which the Counties Act is in force:
And whereas a resolution was passed by the Hobson County Council on the twentieth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-one, praying for the alterations of the boundaries of the Hobson and Whangarei Counties in the manner described in the said resolution and in the First Schedule hereto:
And whereas a similar resolution was passed by the Whangarei County Council on the thirteenth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-one:
And whereas it is expedient to make such alterations in accordance with the said resolutions, and that the areas to be added to the Whangarei County should be included in the Mangakahia Riding of that county:
Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred on me by the said Act, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the areas described in the First Schedule hereto, being now part of the Hobson County, shall be added to and form part of the Whangarei County; that the boundaries of the Hobson and Whangarei Counties as so altered shall be those set forth under the respective headings in the Second Schedule hereto; that the areas added as aforesaid to the Whangarei County shall be included in the Mangakahia Riding of the said county; and that the boundaries of that riding shall be those set forth in the Third Schedule hereto:
And I do also proclaim and declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on the first day of April, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-two.
FIRST SCHEDULE.
AREA EXCLUDED FROM HOBSON COUNTY AND INCLUDED IN WHANGAREI COUNTY.
ALL that area in the North Auckland Land District, bounded by a line commencing at the north-western corner of Section 14, Block XI, Tutamoe Survey District; thence generally easterly along the northern boundary of said Section 14 to its north-eastern corner; thence south-easterly along the north-eastern boundaries of Sections 14, 13, 12, and 11, Block XI, Tutamoe Survey District, to the north-eastern corner of the said Section 11; thence along the south-eastern boundary of said Section 11 to its south-eastern corner; thence along the southern and south-western boundaries of Sections 11, 12, 13, and 14 to the south-western corner of the last-mentioned section; thence along the western boundary of Section 14 aforesaid to its north-western corner, the point of commencement.
Also all that area in the North Auckland Land District, bounded by a line commencing at the north-eastern corner of Section 1 of 10, Block XII, Tutamoe Survey District; thence south-westerly along the south-eastern boundary of Section 1 of 10 to its south-eastern corner; thence westerly along the southern boundary of Section 1 of 10 and that boundary produced to the western boundary of Section 9, Block XII, Tutamoe Survey District; thence northerly along that boundary to its north-western corner; thence easterly along the northern boundaries of Sections 9, 14, and 1 of 10 to the north-eastern corner of the last-mentioned section, the point of commencement.
SECOND SCHEDULE.
HOBSON COUNTY.
ALL that area in the North Auckland Land District, bounded by a line commencing at the mouth of the Waipoua River; thence up the middle of the Waipoua River to the western boundary of Block VIII, Waipoua Survey District; thence along the western boundaries of Blocks VIII and IV, Waipoua Survey District, to the north-western corner of the last-mentioned block; thence easterly along the northern boundaries of the Waipoua and Tutamoe Survey Districts to the Mangakahia River; thence down that river to a point in line with the north-western corner of Section 13A, Block III, Tutamoe Survey District; thence along the road forming the north-western boundary of Section 13A to the western boundary of the said section; thence to and along that boundary and the western boundary of Section 14, Block III, Tutamoe Survey District, to the westernmost corner of the said Section 14; thence along the northern and eastern boundaries of Section 12A, Block II, and the eastern and south-eastern boundaries of Section 8, Block VI, Tutamoe Survey District, to the southernmost corner of the last-mentioned section; thence along the road forming the western and southern boundaries of Section 15 and the southern boundary of Section 10, Block VII, Tutamoe Survey District, to the north-eastern corner of Section 12, Block VI, Tutamoe Survey District; thence along the eastern boundaries of Sections 12, Block VI, and 4 and 5, Block X, Tutamoe Survey District, to the south-eastern corner of the last-mentioned section; thence along the southern boundary of Section 14 and the south-western boundaries of Sections 13, 12, and 11, Block XI, Tutamoe Survey District, to the south-eastern corner of the last-mentioned section; thence along the south-eastern boundary of Section 11 to a public road (Tutamoe Road); thence easterly along that road to the western boundary of Section 9, Block XII, Tutamoe Survey District; thence northerly along that boundary to a point in line with the south-eastern boundary of Section 1 of 10, Block XII, Tutamoe Survey District; thence to and along that boundary to its south-eastern corner; thence along the south-eastern boundary of that section to its north-eastern corner; thence to and along the north-western boundaries of Section 24, Karaka Block, to its northernmost corner; thence along the north-eastern boundaries of Section 24 aforesaid, and Section 25, Karaka Block, to the southernmost corner of Section 22, Karaka Block, Block IX, Mangakahia Survey District; thence along the northern boundaries of Section 10 and the north-western boundary of Section 12, Karaka Block, to the northernmost corner of Section 12 aforesaid; thence along the north-eastern boundaries of Sections 12 and 13, Block IX, Mangakahia Survey District, to the westernmost corner of a Provisional State Forest Reserve of 473 acres; thence along the northern and north-eastern boundaries of that Provisional State Forest reserve as described in New Zealand Gazette, 1922, page 1921, to the road forming the northern and eastern boundaries of other part of said reserve; thence easterly and southerly along that road to the north-eastern boundary of part Maungaru Block (D.P. 3997); thence along that boundary to the middle of the Mangakahia River; thence down the middle of the Mangakahia River and up the middle of the Wairua River to a point in line with the northern boundary of Section 1, Block IV, Maungaru Survey District; thence to and along that boundary and the northern boundary of Section 4 to its north-eastern corner; thence along the eastern boundary of Section 4, Block IV aforesaid, to the middle of the Waiotama River; thence up the middle of the Waiotama River to a point in line with the north-west boundary of the Ngawhakarikiri Block; thence to and
