Lands proclaimed as ceasing to be set apart as National-endowment Lands.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS by section three hundred and two of the Land Act, 1924, as amended by section ten of the Land Laws Amendment Act, 1926, it is enacted that on the disposal of any national-endowment land by way of sale or on the acquisition of the fee-simple of any such land, the Governor-General may by Proclamation declare that such land shall, as from a date to be specified in the Proclamation, cease to be national-endowment land :

And whereas the fee-simple of the lands described in the Schedule hereto (being lands heretofore held under the tenure specified in the said Schedule), has been acquired and it is expedient that the said lands should cease to be national endowment lands :

Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the aforesaid section three hundred and two of the Land Act, 1924, I, Charles Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that from and after the dates specified in the Schedule hereto the lands described in the said Schedule which were set apart as national endowment lands under the provisions of section two hundred and fifty-eight of the Land Act, 1908, ceased to be national endowment lands.

SCHEDULE.

AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.

PARTS Allotment 16, Apata Parish: Area, 1 acre 0 rood 5·3 perches. Tenure: Not previously held on any tenure. Date: 28th October, 1931. As the same are more particularly delineated on a plan marked L. and S. 34/215, and filed in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red. (Auckland plan S.O. 26212.)

NELSON LAND DISTRICT.

Section 8, Block VI, Waitakere Survey District: Area, 143 acres. Tenure: Pastoral Regulation License. Capital value: £40. Date: 9th December, 1931.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 22nd day of January, 1932.

Land taken as a Road in Block VIII, Pouatu Survey District, Taranaki Land District.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section fifteen of the Land Act, 1924, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby take through the land described in the First Schedule hereto the road described in the Second Schedule hereto.

FIRST SCHEDULE.

SUBDIVISION 1 of Section 1, situated in Block VIII, Pouatu Survey District, in the Taranaki Land District, being rural land surveyed and alienated and held under renewable lease dated the 22nd day of January, 1930.

SECOND SCHEDULE.

LAND TAKEN AS A ROAD.

ALL that land, containing approximately 2 acres 3 roods 27 perches, being portion of Subdivision 1 referred to in the First Schedule hereto. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 26/4213A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, under No. 2539, and thereon coloured yellow.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 26th day of January, 1932.

Land taken for the Purposes of Workers’ Dwellings in Block I, Tokomaru Survey District, Waiapu County.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928; and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of workers’ dwellings, and shall vest in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Waiapu as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the eighth day of February, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-two.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 20th day of January, 1932.

Crown Land set apart as a Permanent State Forest.

A PROCLAMATION.

BY virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section eighteen of the Forests Act, 1921–22, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby set apart the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto as a permanent State forest.

SCHEDULE.

AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.—AUCKLAND FOREST-CONSERVATION REGION.

Part of State Forest No. 142 (Maramarua Plantation).

ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 233 acres 0 roods 24 perches, more or less, being parts of Sections 4 and 5, Block VII, and part of Section 12, Block XI, Piako Survey District, and bounded generally as follows: Towards the north-east by Section 3 and another part of Section 4, Block VII, aforesaid; towards the east and south-east by another part of Section 5 aforesaid; again towards the south-east by another part of Section 12 aforesaid; towards the south-west by Sections 24 and 23, Block VI, Piako Survey District (State Forest No. 142, Gazette, 1927, page 2153); and towards the north-west by Section 28, Block VII aforesaid. As the same is more particularly delineated on plan No. 25/11, deposited in the Head Office of the State Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. (Auckland plan S.O. 25690.)

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 26th day of January, 1932.
