Appointment of Issuing Officer for the Purpose of issuing Licenses to Fish for Trout under the Rotorua Trout-fishing Regulations, 1929.

PURSUANT to the provisions of Regulation 5 of the Rotorua Trout-fishing Regulations, 1929, I, Malcolm Fraser, Under-Secretary of the Department of Internal Affairs of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby authorize Hope Frame to be an issuing officer for the purpose of issuing licenses to fish for trout under the Rotorua Trout-fishing Regulations, 1929.

Dated at Wellington, this 27th day of October, 1932.

Armistice Day, 1932.

IT is hereby notified that advice has been received from the Secretary of State for Dominion Affairs that His Majesty has approved of arrangements for the observance in Great Britain of Armistice Day, 11th November, on the same line as last year, namely—

(1) A short service at the Cenotaph; and
(2) Two minutes silence and suspension of all vehicular traffic for that period from 11 a.m.

Citizens and traffic-control authorities throughout New Zealand are earnestly requested to observe the practice adopted in this Dominion on former similar occasions of two minutes silence from 11 a.m., and the suspension of all vehicular traffic during that period.

Taieri River Trust.

WHEREAS by Warrant dated the 27th day of April, 1921, and published in Gazette No. 43 of the 5th day of the following month, Walter Blackie, Esquire, Chairman of the Taieri County Council, Mosgiel, was appointed a Commissioner of the Taieri River Trust, in terms of section 3 of the Taieri River Improvement Act, 1920:

And whereas the said Walter Blackie has resigned on account of ill health, and it is considered expedient to appoint another Commissioner in lieu of the said Walter Blackie:

Now, therefore, I, Charles Edward Macmillan, the Acting Minister of Public Works, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred upon me by section three of the Taieri River Improvement Act, 1920, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby cancel the appointment of the said Walter Blackie to be a Commissioner of the Taieri River Trust, and do hereby appoint

Charles Findlay, Esquire,

member of the Taieri County Council, Mosgiel, to be a Commissioner of the Taieri River Trust.

As witness my hand at Wellington, this 2nd day of November, 1932.

Redefining Boundaries of the Borough of Timaru, the County of Levels, and the Claremont Riding of the County of Levels.

Wellington, 1st November, 1932.

PURSUANT to the provisions of section 141 of the Municipal Corporations Act, 1920, the boundaries of the Borough of Timaru are hereby defined as set out in the First Schedule hereto, the boundaries of the said borough having been altered by Order in Council made under the Municipal Corporations Act, 1920, dated the 19th day of September, 1932, and published in Gazette No. 62, of the 22nd day of September, 1932.

And also, in pursuance of the provisions of the said section 141 of the Municipal Corporations Act, 1920, the boundaries of the County of Levels affected by the said Order in Council are hereby defined as set out in the Second Schedule hereto.

And, in further pursuance of the provisions of the said section 141 of the Municipal Corporations Act, 1920, the boundaries of the Claremont Riding of the County of Levels affected by the said Order in Council are hereby defined as set out in the Third Schedule hereto.

This notice shall take effect as on and from the 1st day of April, 1933.


FIRST SCHEDULE.

BOUNDARIES OF THE BOROUGH OF TIMARU.

ALL that area in the Canterbury Land District bounded by a line commencing at a point at high-water mark on the seashore opposite the north-eastern corner of Rural Section 2445; thence westerly to and along the northern boundary of that section to the Railway Reserve; thence southerly along the eastern side of the Railway Reserve to Eversley Road; thence along a right line to the southernmost corner of Lot 69 on D.P. 751; thence northerly along the western side of the Railway Reserve to the easternmost corner of Lot 71 on D.P. 751 aforesaid; thence along the north-eastern boundaries of Lots 71, 72, 73, 74, 75, and 76 on D.P. 751 to the northernmost corner of the last-mentioned section; thence along the north-western boundary of Lot 76 aforesaid to the Main North Road; thence north-westerly along the north-eastern side of the Main North Road to a point in line with the south-eastern side of Macdonald Street; thence to and along the south-eastern side of Macdonald Street to the north-western corner of Lot 26 on D.P. 3430; thence along the south-western boundary of said Lot 26 to its southernmost corner; thence westerly generally along the north-western boundary of Lot 17 on D.P. 2458 to the eastern boundary of Lot 34 on D.P. 3430; thence along the eastern boundary of Lots 34 and 33 to the north-eastern corner of the last-mentioned lot; thence along the northern boundary of Lot 33, D.P. 3430 aforesaid, to the eastern side of Bouverie Street; thence southerly along the eastern side of Bouverie Street to Andrew Street; thence along the southern side of Andrew Street to the north-western corner of Lot 71 on D.P. 3430 aforesaid; thence along a right line to a point on the western boundary of Lot 10 on D.P. 2552, distant 200 links from the north-eastern corner of Lot 1 on D.P. 3426; thence along the western boundary of Lot 10 for a distance of 200 links to the north-eastern corner of Lot 1 on D.P. 3426; thence along the northern boundaries of Lots 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 to the northernmost corner of the last-mentioned lot; thence along the north-western boundary of said Lot 5 to the north-eastern side of Selwyn Street; thence south-easterly along the north-eastern side of Selwyn Street, and crossing Luxmoore Road, to the southernmost corner of Lot 5 on D.P. 2830; thence south-westerly across Selwyn Street and along a line being the production of the north-western boundary of Lot 1 on D.P. 6464 to a point 500 links distant from the south-western side of Selwyn Street; thence southerly along lines parallel to and distant 500 links from that road to the northern boundary of Rural Section 1846; thence westerly along the northern boundary of that section to the westernmost corner of Lot 1 on D.P. 2545; thence south-easterly along the south-western boundary of the said Lot 1 to the Waimataitai Stream forming the boundary between Rural Sections 1846 and 1529; thence westerly along that stream and its southern branch to the eastern boundary of Rural Section 5742; thence southerly along the eastern boundary of that section and its production across the Wai-iti Road to a point distant 500 links from that road measured at right angles therefrom; thence south-easterly parallel to and distant 500 links from Wai-iti and Otipua Roads to the north-western boundary of Lot 2 on D.P. 4088; thence south-westerly along that boundary to the south-western corner of the said Lot 2; thence along the south-western boundary of the said Lot 2 to the northernmost corner of Lot 3 on D.P. 4173; thence south-westerly along the north-western boundaries of Lots 3 and 4, D.P. 4173, to the north-eastern side of Hill View Road; thence south-easterly along the northern side of Hill View Road, crossing Otipua Avenue to the north-western side of Chaucer Street; thence north-easterly along the north-western side of Chaucer Street to a point 500 links distant from the south-western side of Otipua Road; thence south-easterly along a line parallel to and distant 500 links from Otipua Road to the southern boundary of Rural Section 4497; thence along that boundary and the south-western boundaries of Allotments Nos. 1 to 14 inclusive on D.P. 1900; thence along a right line from the south-western corner of the last-mentioned
