Vesting the Control of a Reserve in the Whangarei Borough Council.

BLEDISLOE, Governor-General.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 31st day of October, 1932.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto has been duly set apart as a reserve for public purposes: And whereas it is expedient that the control of the said reserve should be vested in the Whangarei Borough Council: Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by section seventeen of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby vest the control of the said reserve in the Whangarei Borough Council.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the North Auckland Land District, in the Borough of Whangarei, containing by admeasurement 1 rood 24·2 perches, more or less, being parts of Lot 8 on plan 23619, deposited in the office of the District Land Registrar at Auckland, and being parts of Raumanga No. 1 and Te Mai No. 2 Blocks: bounded towards the north-west by Lots 5 and 6 and part 7, on deeds plan 450, and part Lot 7, on plan 16203, deposited as aforesaid, 299·34 links; towards the north-east by Te Mai Road, 134·45 links; towards the south-east by part Lot 5 on plan 13438 deposited as aforesaid, and Lot 1 on deeds plan 745, 39·2 and 260·02 links respectively; and towards the south-west by Lot 1 on deeds plan 745, 134·45 links. Be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 22/747/91A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey at Wellington, and thereon edged red. North Auckland plan D.P. 23619.

Extending the Time for holding Election of Trustees for Freshfield Drainage District.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 31st day of October, 1932.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS by section ten of the Land Drainage Act, 1908, it is provided that on the first Monday in the month of November in the year following the year in which the first trustees for any drainage district are elected, and on the same day in each succeeding third year thereafter, an election of trustees for each district shall be held:

And whereas an election of trustees for the Freshfield Drainage District is required to be held on the seventh day of November, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-two:

And whereas it is expedient to extend the time for holding such election of trustees for the Freshfield Drainage District: Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers and authorities vested in him by section twenty-two of the Land Drainage Amendment Act, 1922, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby extend the time for holding the aforesaid election of trustees for the Freshfield Drainage District; and doth hereby order and declare that in the aforesaid drainage district the said election shall be held and take place on Thursday, the fifteenth day of December, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-two.

Declaring Land in North Auckland Land District to be subject to the Land for Settlements Act, 1925.

BLEDISLOE, Governor-General.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section one hundred and five of the Land for Settlements Act, 1925, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby declare that the area of Crown land described in the Schedule hereto shall be subject to the provisions of the Land for Settlements Act, 1925, and shall hereafter form part of Waimata Settlement.

SCHEDULE.

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.

SECTION 20, Block IV, Kaihu Survey District: Area, 5 acres 0 roods 19 perches. Formerly known as part of Section 5A, Block IV, Kaihu Survey District, and being more particularly described in the Schedule to the Proclamation published at page 3096 of the New Zealand Gazette of the 5th November, 1931, “Revoking the Reservation over Portion of a Scenic Reserve in the North Auckland Land District.”

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, this 29th day of October, 1932.

Declaring Land in Auckland Land District to be subject to the Land for Settlements Act, 1925.

BLEDISLOE, Governor-General.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section one hundred and five of the Land for Settlements Act, 1925, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby declare that the area of Crown land described in the Schedule hereto shall be subject to the provisions of the Land for Settlements Act, 1925, and shall hereafter form part of the Opouriao Settlement.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 2 roods 25 perches, more or less, being part of Allotment 70 and part of Allotment 241, Waimana Parish, situated in Block IX, Whakatane Survey District. Bounded towards the north and north-east by a public road, 538·6 links and 253·4 links respectively; and towards the south-west by Section 24, Block IX, Whakatane Survey District (Opouriao Settlement), 654·7 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 18937, deposited under No. 2600, in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red. (Auckland plans: S.O. 8037A and 26396.)

PURSUANT to the authority conferred upon me by the three-hundred-and-first section of the Justices of the Peace Act, 1927, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby notify and declare that the persons whose names are set out in the Schedule hereto, being officers in the service of the Crown holding the offices stated opposite their names respectively in the said Schedule, are authorized to take and receive statutory declarations under the three-hundred-and-first section of the Justices of the Peace Act, 1927.
