NOTICE is hereby given that by special resolution passed on the 4th day of October, 1932, it was resolved:—
“ That the company be wound up voluntarily under the provisions of the Companies Act, 1908, and that ARTHUR HORACE KEARNE, of Whangarei, Accountant, be and is hereby appointed Liquidator for the purpose of such winding-up.”
All persons being creditors of the said firm are requested to lodge their accounts in duplicate with the Liquidator at his office, Wallace’s Buildings, Cameron Street, Whangarei, on or before the 25th day of October, 1932.

WHAKATANE HARBOUR BOARD.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
——
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, and of all other powers, if any, it thereunto enabling, the Whakatane Harbour Board hereby resolves as follows:—
That, for the purpose of providing the instalments of interest and sinking fund and other charges, if any, on a loan of £2,700, authorized to be raised by the Whakatane Harbour Board under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of redeeming the outstanding liability in respect of a loan of £3,550, which matured on the 1st day of April, 1932, the said Whakatane Harbour Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of one-fourteenth of a penny (1/14d.) in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the Whakatane Harbour Board’s District (on the basis of the unimproved value), and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such £2,700 loan, and shall be payable yearly on the 30th day of September in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of fifteen years, or until such loan is fully paid off.

MARTON BOROUGH COUNCIL.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
——
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, the Marton Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:—
That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £8,700, authorized to be raised by the Marton Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of redeeming the outstanding balance of that portion of the £10,000 Consolidated Loan remaining after the operation of the accrued sinking fund, the said Marton Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one penny in the pound sterling upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all the rateable property in the whole of the Borough of Marton, and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the first day of July in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
In witness whereof the common seal of the Mayor, Councillors, and Burgesses of the Borough of Marton was affixed by authority of the Council in the presence of—

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, the Marton Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:—
That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £2,700, authorized to be raised by the Marton Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of redeeming the outstanding balance of that portion of the £3,100 Antecedent Liability Loan remaining after the operation of the accrued sinking fund, the said Marton Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of five-sixteenths of a penny (5/16d.) in the pound sterling upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all the rateable property in the whole of the Borough of Marton, and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the first day of July in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

OHINEMURI COUNTY COUNCIL.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.

NOTICE is hereby given that the following resolution was passed at a meeting of the above Council held on the 1st day of September, 1932:—
In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, the Ohinemuri County Council hereby resolves as follows:—
That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £2,000 authorized to be raised by the Ohinemuri County Council under the above-mentioned Act for redeeming portion of the Ohinemuri County Council Antecedent Liability Loan, £4,200, 1922, raised under the Local Bodies’ Finance Act, 1921–22, and which matured on the 1st July, 1932, the said Ohinemuri County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of four twenty-fifths of a penny (4/25d.) in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property of the County of Ohinemuri comprising the whole of the County of Ohinemuri, and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of July in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of fifteen years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.

THE Partnership hitherto subsisting between JOHN DOUGLAS MARTIN and FRANCIS EDWARD HIGGINS, Butchers, of Carlyle Street, Napier, and carried on under the style of “Higgins and Martin,” has been dissolved as from the 10th day of September, 1932.
The business will be conducted by the original and continuing proprietor, JOHN DOUGLAS MARTIN, to whom all claims in the Partnership must be sent and to whom all debts must be paid.
