Charles Jackson Garland, Esquire, of Thames, and Arthur Garrett, Esquire, of Thames,
to be members of the Thames Borough Advisory Committee in addition to the Mayor of the Borough of Thames for the time being in office.

Appointment of Deputy District Public Trustee.

NOTICE is hereby given that in pursuance of the power and authority vested in me by section 3 of the Public Trust Office Amendment Act, 1921-22, I, the Public Trustee of the Dominion of New Zealand, have appointed Rollo Gray of the Public Trust Office, Gisborne, to be Deputy of the District Public Trustee, Gisborne, during the absence of such District Public Trustee from his headquarters, and all previous appointments in this behalf are hereby revoked.

WHEREAS notice was published in the Gazette of 1930, page 2232, of the Native Minister's intention to apply the provisions of subsection (3) of section 23 of the Native Land Amendment and Native Land Claims Adjustment Act, 1929, to Oraka, Section 2B, Block XI, Longwood, and other subdivisions, and known as the Oraka Development Scheme:
Now, therefore, I, the said Native Minister, do decide to apply the provisions of section 522 of the Native Land Act, 1931, to the additional land mentioned in the Schedule hereto as a part of such scheme, and hereby give notice of my intention accordingly.
No owner, except with the consent of the Native Minister, is entitled to exercise any rights of ownership in connection with the land affected so as to interfere with or obstruct the carrying-out of the development scheme.

Private Hospital License revoked.

PURSUANT to the powers and authorities vested in me by subsection 3 of section 133 of the Hospitals and Charitable Institutions Act, 1926, I, James Alexander Young, do hereby revoke the license to conduct a private hospital for midwifery granted to the late Mrs. Annie Mackenzie on the 1st day of November, 1923, in respect of premises situated at Erris Street, Cromwell.

THE following special order, made by the Patangata County Council on the 13th day of September, 1932, is published in accordance with the provisions of the Noxious Weeds Act, 1928.

SPECIAL ORDER.

In exercise of the powers conferred upon it by the Noxious Weeds Act, 1928, the Patangata County Council hereby resolves and declares, by way of special order, that the plant mentioned in the Schedule hereto is a noxious weed within the County of Patangata.

Silybum (Milk Thistle, otherwise known as Variegated Thistle).

Prohibition of Issue of Money-order and Transmission of Postal Correspondence in New Zealand for Miss Anny Baumgartner, Steg, Liechtenstein.

THE Postmaster-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, having reasonable ground for supposing that the person whose name and address are shown in the Schedule hereunder is engaged in promoting or carrying out a lottery or scheme of chance, it is hereby ordered, under section 32 of the Post and Telegraph Act, 1928, that no money-order in favour of the said person shall be issued, and that no postal packet addressed to the said person (either by her own or any fictitious or assumed name), shall be either registered or forwarded by the Post Office of New Zealand.
