Order in Council consenting to the Raising of Loans by the Auckland Transport Board on the Instalment-repayment System.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House, at Wellington, this 19th day of September, 1932.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS the Auckland Transport Board (hereinafter called “the said local authority”) has been authorized to borrow, in respect of the loans referred to in the Second Column of the Schedule hereto, the respective sums stated in the Third Column of the said Schedule, and the respective amounts shown in the Fourth Column of the said Schedule have not yet been borrowed :

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on him by section eleven of the Local Government Loans Board Act, 1926, and by section thirty-two of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in this behalf, doth hereby consent to the raising by the said local authority of the respective amounts shown in the Fourth Column of the said Schedule, for a period not exceeding twenty years, upon terms of making the said amounts together with interest thereon repayable by aggregate half-yearly instalments of principal and interest of five thousand eight hundred and fifty pounds during the first ten years of the said period, and thereafter by aggregate half-yearly instalments of principal and interest of ten thousand two hundred and seventy-two pounds ten shillings and sevenpence.

Revoking Order in Council of the 30th day of July, 1923, Licensing William Holder to use and occupy a Part of the Foreshore of the Tamaki River as a Site for a Boat-shed.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 26th day of September, 1932.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS by Order in Council dated the thirteenth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-three, and published in the Gazette of the second day of the following month, at page 2154, William Holder, of Auckland (hereinafter called “the licensee”), was licensed to use and occupy a part of the foreshore on the Tamaki River, as a site for a boat-shed :

And whereas it is desirable to revoke the same :

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred upon him by the Harbours Act, 1923, and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in that behalf, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby revoke the hereinbefore-recited Order in Council of the thirteenth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-three, as from the thirty-first day of March, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-two.

Revoking a License authorizing Lawrence Harold Davency, of Oruru, to erect Electric Lines in Portion of the Mungonui County known as Oruru.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 26th day of September, 1932.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS by Order in Council dated the sixth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and thirty, and published in the New Zealand Gazette, No. 44, of the twelfth day of the same month, at page 1942 (hereinafter referred to as the first-mentioned Order in Council), Wallace Jacentho, of Oruru, Motor Mechanic, was authorized to lay, construct, put up, place, and use certain electric lines within an area therein defined :

And whereas by Order in Council dated the fifth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-two, published in the New Zealand Gazette, No. 48, of the fourteenth day of the same month, at page 1643, His Excellency the Governor-General consented to the assignment of the rights, powers, and privileges conferred by the first-mentioned Order in Council to Lawrence Harold Davency, of Oruru :

And whereas the said Lawrence Harold Davency has consented to the revocation of the first-mentioned Order in Council :

Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby revoke the said first-mentioned Order in Council.

Consenting to stopping Portion of Road in Block VII, Kaipara Survey District, Waiemata County.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 26th day of September, 1932.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby consent to the Waiemata County Council stopping the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of road permitted to be stopped: 1 acre 2 roods 37·7 perches.

Adjoining or passing through Section 124, Allotment E, 117, and Section M, 117.

Situated in Block VII, Kaipara Survey District (Makarau Parish), (Auckland R.D.). (S.O. 28785.)

In the North Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 84584, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.
