DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership hitherto carried on at Auckland by DESMOND JACK PARSONS and LINDSAY WILLIAM ESSEX, under the name of “The Smart Set Mills,” has been dissolved by mutual agreement, as from the fifteenth day of September, 1932.

COROMANDEL COUNTY COUNCIL.
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND AND TO CLOSE PORTIONS OF ROAD.
In the matter of the Counties Act, 1920, and the Public Works Act, 1928.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Coromandel County Council proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts, to execute a certain public work—namely, the Manaia Hill Deviation of the Thames-Coromandel Main Highway—and for the purposes of such public work the lands described in the First Schedule hereto are required to be taken, and the portions of road described in the Second Schedule hereto are required to be closed. Notice is hereby further given that a plan of the lands so required to be taken and of the portions of road so required to be closed is deposited in the public office of the Clerk to the said Council, situate at Kapanga Road, Coromandel, and is open for inspection without fee by all persons during ordinary office hours.
All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of such lands or the closing of such portions of road who have any well-grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said lands or the closing of such portions of road must state their objections in writing and send the same within forty days from the first publication of this notice to the County Clerk at the Council Chambers.

IN LIQUIDATION.
In the matter of the Companies Act, 1908, and in the matter of the WAIPAPAKAURI GUM COMPANY, LIMITED (in Liquidation).
NOTICE is hereby given that a general meeting of the above company will be held at my office, Wright’s Buildings, Fort Street, Auckland, on the 11th October, at 10 a.m., for the purpose of having the accounts of the Liquidator, showing the manner in which the winding-up has been conducted and the property of the company disposed of, laid before such meeting, and of hearing any explanation that may be given by the Liquidator; and also of determining by extraordinary resolution the manner in which the books, accounts, and documents of the company and of the Liquidator thereof shall be disposed of.

NOTICE is hereby given that the following resolution, taking effect as a special resolution, was duly passed by the above-named company on the 13th day of August, 1932:—
“That the company be wound up voluntarily, and that ARTHUR EUSTACE BARTRUM, of Christchurch, Company Manager, be and is hereby appointed Liquidator for the purpose of such winding-up.”

PUBLIC notice is hereby given that on the 8th September, 1932, the following extraordinary resolution was passed by A. S. Prentice and Company, Limited:—
“That it has been proved to the satisfaction of the shareholders that the company cannot, by reason of its liabilities, continue its business, and that it is advisable to wind up the same, and that the same be wound up accordingly; and that JOHN BERTRAM REID, of Invercargill, Accountant, be and is hereby appointed Liquidator for the purpose of such winding-up.”

IN VOLUNTARY LIQUIDATION.
In accordance with section 168, subsection (6), of the Companies Act, 1908, the following resolution was duly passed by the company on the 17th day of September, 1932:—
“That it has been proved that the company cannot, by reason of its liabilities, continue its business, and that it is advisable to wind up the same, and accordingly that the company be wound up voluntarily, and that EDWARD NESBITT, of Napier, Accountant, be and he is hereby appointed Liquidator for the purposes of such winding-up.”

THE creditors of the above-named company are required, on or before the 15th day of October, 1932, to send their names and addresses and particulars of their debts or claims to the undersigned, the Liquidator of the said company, or, if required by notice in writing from the Liquidator, to come in and prove such debts or claims, or in default thereof they will be excluded from the benefit of any distribution made before such debts are proved.
